Ninja Blade - pretty damn entertaining

I just imported Ninja Blade and have been playing it for the last couple of days. I'd have to say it's pretty entertaining. I wouldn't call it a Ninja Gaiden killer or anything like that... actually, I don't even know if you'd be able to compare the two; they play completely different. It's a bit more comparable, game play wise, to God of War. It's a mix of well placed button mashes along with a ton of QTE's. BTW, the QTE's are quite impressive, very cinematic and they flow in and out very well. Besides a few noticeable framerate issues here and there the game so far is pretty solid.

I'm not gonna go further than into this since I haven't played through the whole thing yet. Just thought i'd post a first impression opinion for anyone thinking about importing this title. so far i'm thinking it was worth it.

Did this Ninja Blade game just come out? If so what system SuperPartyRobot? I am intrigued and would like to see some pictures or links if possible. I would do it myself but I'm currently at work and this is one of the few sites that I can use. I cannot even use google here at work.

It released in Asia a week or two ago for XBox360, it's coming to the US at the end of March. The game is region free and is a mix of English and Japanese with English or Chinese subtitles. I picked it up a www.play-asia.com for the same price as any game here. It's pretty fun. I'll be flipping between that and Killzone 2 over the weekend. =]

I've heard of this game. I've seen some footage and it's gotten me to record an episode of X-Play just to see what it's all about. It looks spiffy.

A good game from From Software? I'm shocked!

Does the XBL Marketplace have a demo of this? I'm certainly interested.

X-play did a preview of it, I desperately want it now. It looks absolutely awesome, as Ive come to expect from the people who made the Otogi games.

eh I can imagine getting sick and tired of mashing buttons for quicktime events and switching to a game more oriented towards actually controlling you're character

I dont think it'd get old, maybe if you suck at it and you have to perform the QTE like 50 times, but I dont see that happening. I look at it more like in game cinematics.
