• Essence is back, though Yakumo's version of this is absorbing blood orbs to do Ultimate Techniques.
• Parrying is very similar to Metal Gear Rising. There is even light and optional stealth which functions the same as Rising. Making NG4 look like Metal Gear Rising 2.
• The actual shop and a shop keeper are back! You can try moves out before buying them. A Platinum games staple.
• Birds acting as saves makes a return, but when playing as Yakumo, they're crows instead of falcons.
• The camera issue has finally been fixed in a 3D Ninja Gaiden game!
