No mega man legend for PS4

SO vista and ps3 got mega man today. I loved that game and played it tell it broke. So when the escapist said it would be in the PSN http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/142530-Mega-Man-Legends-PSN-Port-Next-Week I was super exited. Now I find out no game for me. Stupid lying escapist.

Seriously though, I think it's because PS4 doesn't support PS1 compatibility yet is why the PS4 doesn't have Mega Man Legends.

Why are they having so much trouble getting ps1 games to work digitally on the PS4? I don't understand why I can play FF7 on my phone, but my $400 gaming system can't handle it. I feel like Sony dropped the ball on this.

It's Sony gaming hardware. Them dropping the ball on it should be expected. Especially with PS1 emulation, which they've had trouble with in any non-physical iteration (PS3's software version, PS Vita, etc).

As far as I'm aware, none of the PS1/PS2 Classics available on the PSN (viewing from PS3 & Vita) are compatible with the PS4 and aren't even seen on the store. I don't know if you knew that, or if you did, why you would think that would suddenly change? On the topic of the PS4 PSN store, I recently got mine just last month and I'm surprised just how bare it is in comparison. I would have thought the console coming up on it's 2nd birthday would have more in it.
