Turian's have yet to have a feminist movement and still live under a male rule so they are not allowed off the planet and are only aloud to reproduce or take care of the offspring.Alkore said:Is it just me or are there no turian females in either mass effect one or two?
Do you really think you could tell Elcor, Hanar, and Volus apart by gender?Sky Captanio said:No Krogan, Salarian, Elcor, Hanar, Or Volus females either. Well maybe in Mass Effect 3...
This. How do people know that they have not already seen female turians/volus/hanar etc? I can't tell the gender of many animals simply by looking at them. People treat other sentient beings similar to humans in their gender differences, i.e. females, with breasts, feminine voices etc. That may not be the case for many of the races in the ME universe.Souplex said:Do you really think you could tell Elcor, Hanar, and Volus apart by gender?Sky Captanio said:No Krogan, Salarian, Elcor, Hanar, Or Volus females either. Salarians are 90% male, so that makes a little more sense.
I am fairly certain that since Turians are bug-lizards (Neither genus has breasts) they wouldn't have many external gender characteristics that you could see while they were wearing clothes. Can you tell a male lizard from a female lizard by simply looking at one?
You mean Quarian? Because ME2 did have plenty of make Quarians... Now that I think about it, was Tali the only Quarian you ever meet in ME1?zauxz said:There werent any quarrian males in ME1 too, so I'm guessing we'll se them in ME 3.
All the Krogan females are kept on their homeworld in seperate tribes.Sky Captanio said:No Krogan, Salarian, Elcor, Hanar, Or Volus females either. Well maybe in Mass Effect 3...
What about voices? Just 'cause Hanar look the same and volus are in suits doesn't mean there voices don't change. And Quarians wear suits as well and they look very different.Maze1125 said:All the Krogan females are kept on their homeworld in seperate tribes.Sky Captanio said:No Krogan, Salarian, Elcor, Hanar, Or Volus females either. There is a "similar" thing for Salarians.
We only see about three Elcor through both games, quite possible they would all be male by chance.
There is absolutely no way to tell if we'd seen a female Hanar or not.
And the Volus live in their suits the whole time, half of the ones we met could have been female.
It is possible that female Turians look just like males and we have met some, but you'd think the game would mention that.
The Turians are basically the only species in game that doesn't have a reasonable explanation as to why they are all apparently male.
Quarians were meant to seem attractive to humans, which is why there could not be gender confusion.Sky Captanio said:What about voices?
