I recently got Phantasy Star 0 and was wondering if there were any other sci-fi type RPGs out there for the DS that anyone could suggest.

It isn't easy to find a copy, but they re-released Front Mission onto the DS a couple years ago. It's a great game, and great series. The tactical combat is fun and rewarding and it's an RPG where you stomp around in giant robots blasting the crap out of other giant robots with shotguns the size of pickup trucks.

The World Ends With You is supposed to be pretty good. Don't have a DS nor have I ever played the game but its an RPG set in modern day Tokyo.
I'm pretty sure TWEWY is fantasy... Just not high-fantasy, perhaps.

Super Robot Taisen Og Saga: Endless Frontier is an excellent Fantasy RPG for the DS.
It will keep you busy and entertained for a long time.

The World Ends with You isn't fantasy... well I mean it has fantasy elements, of course, but it takes place in modern-day Tokyo. One of the best RPGs I've ever played, handheld or otherwise.

Sort of in the same line as TWEWY, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor. It has fantasy elements, but it's set in urban Tokyo, deals a lot with technology, and has some undercurrents of religion v. atheism running through it. It's a pretty good tactical RPG, and I highly recommend it.

I have Front Mission and I've heard good things about SMT: Devil Survivor and TWEWY. Though are there any that aren't turn based?
