You know what would be interesting? Making a way to neutralized enemies in call of duty's multiplayer through non-lethal means, and yielding much larger xp rewards for them?
I feel like it could work, it would just be much more difficult due to multiplayer match's frenetic pace. maybe adding ability to sleep coke someone instead if knife them. Maybe take a number from MGS peace walker and add a fulton skyhook as an item? You could probably think of ways of doing this. I doupt Infinity ward or treyarch would actually do this, but I enjoy what ifs, think about it :) maybe battlefield could use it too

Well the problem with that is that Call of Duty is much less a team work based game as much as it is a mindless run and gun shooter. Team based play only really comes into games like Halo or Battlefield, possibly even Gears of War.

Bad Company 2 did things like that where you could spot people or play the role you want well (Like Sniping or Assault, one was rewarded for actually taking a territory and one could hold it themselves). Besides, people sprint more than they do shoot in Call of Duty so doing that sneaky stealth stuff is hardly one to take advantage of.

Using non-lethal means in Call of Duty...I don't see it happening.
CoD is fast paced, and the target audience would not take kindly to a change such as sleeper hold's etc. I can imagine these moves requiring a lot more time then a simple 'knife leap' or a few bullets to the toes. Hell, even I play CoD for the mindless shoot 'em up action. I could however see it working in a BF game, as Terminate said it is much more team oriented. But it would act as more of a novelty rather than a tool that was constantly used. As sometime's it's better to use simple mean's, such as using a tank to destroy the house or a mortar strike to get them out of cover, saves time and it could damn well save your team mate's lives.
