Ive only gotten as far as the above spoiler, but so far BRILLIANT game. and coming from someone who hated gears 1 and 2 multiplayer, i have to say... AWESOME SAUCE.

At that part I was on the verge of tears man. I beat the campaign yesterday, I loved every second of it.
To be completely honest, I cried when he died.
My boyfriend and I play all the GoW games split-screen coop, so Dom was my character for the last two games and I had become quite attached to him. More so than I realized, especially after reading the books.
I know Gears isn't exactly a Shakespearean Tragedy, but I still felt like I had lost a friend.

I gotta say Dom's death hit me. I was expecting SOMEONE to die. Carmine and someone else. My guess was Baird. But then Dom bit it. Damn, it was crazy I was so upset.
Also, I got so so excited when Jack got fixed! I couldn't help but give a huge grin. I love Jack.
And the whole Carmine thing was awesome. They kept teasing him dying throughout the game with the falling debris, the sniper, and the downed chopper. I seriously though he wasn't gonna make it. But that final scene with his helmet on the beach made me so sad. I told myself "Figures." Then when he picked it up, brushed it off, and put it back on I was jumping for joy! Carmine forever!

I kinda feel bad for the Locust. Despite their genocidal queen, the humans just did the same thing back to them.
Bit off topic, but how is the AI? my friend said that he almost smashed things because he went down and his AI friends (this is in campaign) didn't help him up.

The AI is noticeably improved from Gears2. Enemies are a lot more fluid at moving around and friendlies got a whole lot better at performing executions.Creator002 said:
9/10 times the AI will help you up, but that time where they don't can be frustrating.
Overall I'd say the AI is pretty darn good, not perfect, but good.
