I dont understand why people are saying that bioware are the worst company in the world.
I honestly understand they made a bad game, but one mistake puts you at the top of absolutely everyone's sh#t list? yeah sure, DLC but really? Seeing another tread of people saying they are never going to buy another bioware game again. After all the other amazing games they made? REALLY?!? Dragon age two yes that was bad, and mass effect 3. "that had a bad ending" oh golly. i feel that most people are jumping on the band wagon in this case.

Also Marauder Shields, Best boss fight ever.

I am not saying the ending was good i am only stating that a bad game does not mean all abandonment of the company. They actually put honest effort into what? 70-80% of their games. In all honesty most of you deserve what you got.

Still boycotting the game BTW

Well the ending might not be all that bad. Trying not to spoil it at all incase you do get the game later on. But it could be a mindfuck into thinking it was the end. Though some people think the fans are just grasping at straws, which I would probably agree (I didn't think the ending was all that bad. It sucks but to each his own) the theory I see does fill in a lot of plot holes and keep consistent.

Anyways my two cents. I guess I should be the first to say "OMG 7 ME threads!" so that's out of the way. But yeah, I do think people are over reacting just a tad bit.

I guess the thinking is that they used to be good and now they suck. And if you have some lingering affection for Bioware then you can always just blame it on EA.

Personally I'd say the other 90% of ME3 proves they've still got it, but I can see the logic. After all, if a developer I like were to stop producing games I consider good I wouldn't keep buying them on the merits of their older work.

They evidently "still have it" or no one would bother asking them to fix things in the first place, we'd just assume they were too inept to bother. The problem isn't a lack of talent. The problem appears to be a lack of EFFORT, which is a lot less forgivable.

From What i hear 96% of the game is pure gold.
and the ending was bad.
Guess that is not good enough for most people.

Bioware games have been pretty good, but the whole shady dealings is what has a lot of people upset, the way that they have handled the entire situation has included the following

- Banning people who complain form the forums (including people that did not insult anyone)
- Attempting to close down any and all form of criticism.
- Lying outright about what we could expect from the end game just 2 months before release.
- Dismissing all complainers in general as rude people and stating their game was perfect because the reviewers and critics that have advertisement deals with EA say their game is great.

yes, up to the last few minutes the game had done a wonderful job of giving people payoff of their work in the previous 2 games, however the ending itself invalidates everything you did by not only providing a Cheap ass last minute ending, that didnt require you to play any of the previous games to achieve, but also didnt give closure to anything after completely altering the fate of the universe that they had built up.
