So it's about 2 weeks to go and I kinda need some help.
It's the National Youth Theatre auditions, and I need to have a 2 minute monologue/speech from a play (preferably not a film, which is a bummer, as there are a few I would have chosen) to prepare.
I can't choose one.
I don't know what they're really looking for, and I can't find a speech interesting enough, or intriguing enough...
Basically I need some advice and help, as I kinda want to know what the whole day will involve (including the workshop), if anyone's done it before.
So for summary:
I need a 2 minute speech from a play.
What happens in the auditions?
EDIT: The ideal character would be someone like Gollum. He's gotta be the ideal person in my eyes. (I've found I can do the multiple personalities/crazy thing well) so anyone like him would be amazing.
