Oh yeah, you mean that guy that performed a song that actively encouraged people to riot/break stuff at Woodstock '99?
Yeah, it's nice to see he's still around huh?
I miss the 90's...

*shrugs* wasn't there, didn't want to go, so that kinda doesn't mean squat to me :p

The only way we'll get them to quit is by NOT buying their music. And stand still. If you stand still, they can't see you.
lol, hey, i've been not buying Metalica for YEARS and they're still around, so that's not working XD

As much as I shouldn't, I do like LP. And their new, well, LP is the best of their career. The name is kinda lame, but the actual material, is the heaviest, most well put together music of their career, with by far Fred Durst's best lyrical performance to date (I know that's not saying much, but still). he still has moments that make you say "really dude?" but they're much fewer and farther between. If you do like them, I can't really recommend it enough.

Yeah, they're playing a festival in Australia that I'm going to in about a month. But I shall be avoiding their set...

Same here. I wasn't very excited for the new album until I heard "Why Try". I love me some KoRn, one of my favorite bands. Never thought I'd see a day where Limp Bizkit is actually putting out better music than Korn though

XD i was more surprised they where still around o.o and to see Wess was back in the band, doods still a freak to, XD its great. but yeah, KoRn's kind sucked as of late, though admittedly, not had a chance to grab anything after 'Take a Look in the Mirror', though i did hear the self title(the one with the weird crow thing on the cover) right after sucked to high heaven. i've been have a great run with Disturbed though

Ah Significant Other, a staple of the 3 CDs I had in middle school... The other two being Sum41's all thrilla no killa and Blink182 Enema Of State. I use to think Limp was such a Badass band, I go back and listen to that same CD now and well... The music is excellent, but Durst just comes across so juvenile at times. Still "Rearranged" is a very dope track. Results May Vary, I thought had a very different sound that worked well for them, "Underneath The Gun" was an awesome track. "Lonely World" was so... ahhhoshglhlnf sterotypical emo, but I found myself enjoying it despite that. Then Durst tried to be all Rage Against The Machine with The Unquestionable Truth - Part 1 and that's where he lost me, and then I found Monster Magnet.

Oh I'm tangenting, sorry, I just got swirled up in nostalgia. I'll have to give this a listen to.

donno about KoRn, if its any good i'll pick it up, but Disturbed, released one last year called 'Lost Children' its got a bunch of harder to find tracks on it to, and Asylum before that. which, was fucking awesome btw

I think I might be to blame for that. :( I bought their music.

And whenever I hear this guys stage name all I can hear in my head is Limp Biscuit and... You do not want to google that.
>.> well, we all make mistakes, which is fine so long as we learn from them

never liked Metalica to begin with, after the nappster thing, i had, zero respect for them, but now, meh, they sound like every other growly metal band.

He's still getting blamed for that? If I recall, he's performed that at numerous other festivals without starting a riot.

Eh, anyway, OP: I actually like a lot of their old stuff, not really got into the new stuff. I guess you never grow out of what you grew up with though right?

Bah, if they didn't quit after Load/ReLoad, then they're never quitting.

Not to mention it was shit festival to begin with, with giant corporations sponsoring and food vendors selling water for 3 dollars a bottle in scourching heat... ya know, basically the EXACT OPPOSITE of what woodstock should of been.

I prefer Linkin Park, and Nickleback to Limp Biskit...

No joke, I'm being dead serious here, Limp Biskit is awful in my opinion.
