Absolutely fantastic, an inspiring work, from an inspiring orator.

The guy's good with words. Lets see now if he can put this into practice. He screwed up the oath bit though:p

I think the oath was more the judge's fault than Obama's.

I liked the speech, but what I really noticed the huge amount of propaganda placed into the event. It was quite unnerving to see.

As someone watching it from a British point of view, I thought it was very very good and kind of wish we had a leader of similar charisma.

It was epic! He did make me think 'Yea, stuff is looking pretty bad but we are awesome enough to push through it!'

Epic win from England!

Agreed.
I can't imagine people getting as excited about a speech by Gordon Brown, put it that way.

He puts forth a good speech. A lot of points were none to subtle jabs at the Bush administration's way of doing things. However I can't fault him for that. I like the asking of the American people to work harder and the open handed foreign policy tone of the whole thing. Also I liked how he opened up with "My fellow citizens" instead of "My fellow Americans". I think it shows he is not pandering to the "USA is #1" crowd, but that is just my interpretation of it.

One of the best speeches I have ever heard. Obama is truly a great speaker. I think its really funny to compare it to bush last press conferance. Quote Bush "I know some of you agree with some of my hard desisions, but I think we can all agree that I did make those hard desisions."
I cant belive he got reelected :D From a Norwegian perspective. :)

basically, he is saying, "give me your hope, dreams and faith, and i will turn them all into gold using my alchemy!" seriously, that was a great speech. basically, he promised to end corporate greed which caused the international financial crisis, pull troops out of Iraq, restore international and national faith in the US government, unite all people of all walks, restore the pride the prestige the nation used to have before Bush etc
