Some of us around these parts have sunk ridiculous amounts of time into this game and loved every second, myself included. So...

1. How many hours did you put in?

2. What were your favorite items you found? Where did you find them?

3. Where were your favorite places you stumbled upon?

4. And which quests made you go 'awesome'?

I shall start us off:

1. I have around 200 hours on Oblivion now and loved every one.

2. My favorite item is without a doubt the Skeleton key. The lockpicking was so frustrating until I was given this wonderful toy after completing Nocturnal's Daedric quest.

Ring of War is also great. I found it on a random Daedra in an Oblivion plain.

3. Favorite places: The seaside town of Anvil. Peaceful and relaxing to wonder around.

Dive rock. A ***** to find but what a view.

4. Favorite quests were the ones from the thieves guild where you found secret passages in the castles, it felt really cool to be going into all those dark hidden places no one was meant to see.

1. How many hours did you put in?

I think I'm up to 300+ now, and that's only on the 360. I can't wait to be able to play it on PC because then I can use mods and stuff.

2. What were your favorite items you found? Where did you find them?
In the Shivering Isles, you can get the armor for the guardians of Dementia or Mania, depending on if you wear Heavy or Light. I love the Dark Seducer Armor.

3. Where were your favorite places you stumbled upon?
The invisible town! That was hilarious.

4. And which quests made you go 'awesome'?
~Infiltrating the Blackwood Company-- they totally threw me off with the town-slaying.
~The Manor quest for the Dark Brotherhood-- gleefully sadistic.
~Getting the Mages Guild recommendation in Bravil was also gleefully sadistic-- hearing everybody talk about how the water tasted funny, and then finding the dead body in the well was so disgustingly awesome.

1: It's got to be about 650 hours in total.
2: The armor which you get from Umbra. It's rubbish, but interesting.
3: The town with "The Brethren" that is weird.
4: The quest where you have to kill everyone in the mansion for the Dark Brotherhood.
The last Mages Guild Quest where you kill Mannimarco
The last quest in the Main Questline.

I think i have about 400+ hours now
My favourite item would be Spellbreaker. That is a very very usefull shield
My faveourite place would be Cloud Ruler Temple. Its a very cool place and you get some awesome armour
My favourite quest was the Knights of the Nine. You got an amazing set of armour and weapons and it was quite fun. Especially the end leading the attack. And you get tthe best title on the game from it.

1. Many, over multiple characters. Not as many as WoW, but a lot nonetheless.

2. Gotta be the Staff of the Everscamp [http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Staff_of_the_Everscamp], Thornblade [http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Thornblade#leveled_statistics] or, just for the fun of it, Apron of Adroitness [http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Apron_of_Adroitness]. Because real soldiers run around the countryside in aprons.

3. The Mirrored town in Shivering Isles and Frostcrag Spire (modded to be extra cool :O)

4. Being locked in the mansion for the Dark Brotherhood, not being allowed to be seen when you kill your foes. Also, Sheogorath's quest from his shrine where you have to immitate plagues on a superstitious town.

How many hours did you put in?

Too many! Probably in the low to middle 4 digits

2. What were your favorite items you found? Where did you find them?

Skeleton key. I hated lockpicking

3. Where were your favorite places you stumbled upon?

The haunted house in Chorrol. Also a house filled with skeletons in Skingrad

4. And which quests made you go 'awesome'?

I was actual sad when I had to

Kill all the Db shrine members, I felt bad

That quest is completely broken. So long as you don't do any offensive magic in the place, it doesn't matter if people see you or not, they'll act as if they don't. They also all have 1hp.

Probably 300+ hours

The coolest thing I was the Wabbajack from Sheogorath. Man, turning people into all sorts of critters is incredably fun, and reminds me of Ratchet and Clank.
There are also quite a few modded weapons placed in the leveled lists and found randomly that are awsome.

A cool place I stumbled upon was the one haunted fort in Shivering Isles, the one where the soldiers are ghosts and keep fighting. A pretty cool quest and really fun.

As for quests, well The Mansion quest for the dark brotherhood is easily my favorite. Man, just hunting down and murdering them when no one is looking, plus seeing what the guests do when certiain people are murdered at certain times... man I love that quest.

Another favorite is the Sheogorath statue quest. The apocolypse has never been so fun.

That and the treasure hunting quest for Umbicano in the Imperial City. With a ciertain mod, he actually looked like he collected Aylied stuff, and this stuff was everywhere, so after the quest I was like a kid in a candy store :) I just wish there was a mod that lets me keep his house after the quest... That is my only wish that hasn't been fufilled from the modding community.

1.) No idea. All I know is that I've spent far to much time in that game, and I still have not done everything in it.

2.) My favorite items are the sigil stones. You put in a lot of effort to get them, and some of them have neat effects. I also love the skeleton key, even if it does feel like cheating when I use it.

3.) My favorite place is the area around Skingrad, because it's full of flax. Or the Great Forest, because it's pretty.

4.) The quest where you have to kill an Ogre to get jumbo potatoes.

1. Probably 100+ hours.
2. If i'm playing a Berserker, Sinweaver, a claymore you find in the course of the fighters guild, is nessecsary. WabbaJack when being a mage, Skeleton Key+Sufferthorn+Ruins Edge for Theif/Assassin characters.
3. Harcane Grove, because hey, RIDEABLE UNICORN! And Roland Jenseric's Cabin, because it's a good place to hide out if the gaurds are looking for you and you've got to meet a Theives Guild Contact to get rid of the fines.
4.In my opinion, The Dark Brotherhood questline was better than the Main one. I liked sneaking back into the dungeons and killing that p**** from the intro.

150+ Hours.

Wabbajack. So goddamn great and the quest for it is hilarious. Also Wabbajack = Capable of Killing Mehrunes Dagon.

My favourite place is either Cloud Ruler Temple with its awesome views and if you attacked everyone and jumped off the mountain there was a little ledge you could land on while all the blades would jump off after you and all die or New Sheoth. The inhabitants of that place are all mental. Especially the guy who wont talk to you unless you have a sweetroll.

My favourite quest is easily the Dark Brotherhood one where you go into that house killing them all, the quest for Sheogorath where you make the people think its the apocalypse or the Daedric quest where you have to crash that dinner party and make everyone naked.

1. 350+ hours, been meaning to get it on 360 and start up again

2. A combination of the Necklace of Swords+Ring of the Iron Fist+Escutcheon of Chorrol gives you 100% reflect damage, which is awesome to see people kill themselves while attacking you

3. Favourite place would have to be Bruma, I just love jumping between the rooftops killing guards with sneak attack arrows.

4. I loved the entirety of Shivering Isles, if not that then the Dark Brotherhood quests
