Ok I did use search and couldn't find anything by the fourth page, so if this has been done before, my bad

anyway, what sort of odd things have you noticed in games?
For example I noticed that at the start of Prince of Persia, Sands of Time, the prince has a dagger sheath on his belt even though he doesn't have a dagger with him, and there is no believable way he could know that he is going to pick up a dagger that just happens to fit the sheath perfectly in the Maharaja's treasure vault. At least this struck me as being odd.

Games are meant to be odd, they would be no fun if they weren't...

How about the oddness of Marcus regenerating his bullet wounds by waiting a few seconds or Gordon Freeman replenishing his health by walking on a health pack, or the raiders in Fallout 3 taking half a magazine into thier heads before they die, or Mario not realising that the princess is probably trying to drop him a hint by getting 'kidnapped' all the time...

He also acts like he's putting a dagger away when he sheathes his sword before he gets to the treasure vault.

To quote Yahtzee, "No matter were you are in Gears 2 there is always a chest high wall, not a full wall, just chest high."

Something ive noticed in all games, but usually which cant be avoided, is clipping graphics. Such to say, this occurs alot in Soul calibur 4. Sigfried and Nightmares armor couldnt go through all that toe-to-toe combat without catching on eachother at least once, and those swords are only effective in certain areas of the blade. A lot of the times (Not neccisarily SC4) I see a character running up stairs, but the reality is the stairs are just a ramp with some polygons attached. This problem was fixed in GTA, but no other game to date that I've seen has that. Another curiosity is WHERE THE HELL DOES CLOUD KEEP HIS SWORD? Its however many feet long, and you dont see him running around with it on all the time. WoW has the same problem, but with Inventory management. Where are you keeping all those bags? Armor in a game rarely shows, you can equip "bronze grieves of strength" in infinite undiscovery, but the guy still has his normal boots on. Whats up?

(Spoiler...a bit)

Prince of Persia 2008

You fight the God of Darkness and his minions. You kick the crap outta 'em, imprison them back into the tree, and all is happy except that your partner(Elika) is dead. So what do you do: Do you walk away for the good of mankind or release all the forces of evil(again) and start the apocalypse just to get her back to life. Make a wild guess what the Prince decided to do.

Seriously, it's kinda pointless to do all that crap if at the end you...well undo everything you do

Something else I noticed in Sands of Time. No matter how injured you are, you can drink yourself back to full health with water. Even water that might very well be stagnate.

How on realistic difficulty you *may* die in one shot wearing anaconda armour (prototype armour that can protect better than anything else right now) and yet you may live through 7-9 shots with NOTHING on.

Almost forgot im talking about ranibow six vegas 2.

Fear 2. There is those round donut hole type lifesavers you usually see on a beach or boat beside a pool of water that can't be more than a foot deep. And this is in a penthouse of a huge apt. building.

He does not have one. He just has the rope tied at the handle. I think only about half the swords of sheaths.

In Prince of Persia, you can put your mace away then do a somersault. This should shove the spiky end of the mace up your ass. In fact, most of stunts can't be done while carrying or holding a weapon.

In most of the Hack and Slash games (this is seen the best in Diablo 2), whenever a monster drops a loot or you open a chest, whatever is inside is propeled into the air, spinning.

I'm surprised nobody lost an eye or a head yet.
