The book of the film was much better, I hear.Samtemdo8 said:They made a movie about Battleship. Why is this such a surprise.Queen Michael said:The emoji move being real.
I've seen 1 and 2 and if the very premise freaks you out, yeah, I'd say you're better off.CaitSeith said:The Human Centipede. Just hearing what the movie was about disturbed me deeply. Will I ever watch it? HELL FREAKING NO!
What about a board game based on a movie based on a board game? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battleship_(film)#Board_gameSilentpony said:When they make novelizations of movies based off books. There's a novelization series of the Harry Potter movies. No, not a re-print of the original books, an actual version of the movie. So if it wasn't in the movie, it doesn't make the novelization.
yeah a serbian film most people would be better off not only not seeing but not knowing it even exists.. vile piece of work and not the worst out thereExtra-Ordinary said:I've seen 1 and 2 and if the very premise freaks you out, yeah, I'd say you're better off.CaitSeith said:The Human Centipede. Not trying to call anyone a lightweight, just reaffirming your position. The first one's honestly not as graphic as you'd think, the second one totally is though, there was a significant amount of covering my eyes and I have a moderately thick skin when it comes to that stuff, moderately.
Anyhow, in the same vein, A Serbian Film.
I'm a a point in my life that I trust people when they say "you don't want to know" and knowing just a tiny bit of the plot and written details of some of the scenes, yeah, not touchin' that one.
I would totally read a book based off the TV show based of the board game based off the movie based off the board game of Battleship.Saelune said:Anything with bugs or plane crashes.

Or a video game based on a movie based on a video game, but it is more a bad rip-off of a competing video game. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Street_Fighter:_The_Movie_(console_video_game)
I don't think you were watching the same movie I was. And yes I saw what you did there, I still don't think you were watching the same movie I was.pookie101 said:well battleship told the story of brave explorers, responding to a transmission, who are trappedon a primitive planet and they show restraint as they try and call home and act in self defence vs the barbaric apesSamtemdo8 said:They made a movie about Battleship. Spec Ops is really great but... You haven't really gone down the video game rabbit hole until you've played The Beginner's Guide. Made by Davey Wreden, the same guy (mostly) behind The Stanley Parable. It was actually inspired by something he legitly went through. But I won't spoil it. It's such a mindfuck in that it quickly evolves into chaos and massive self-doubt if you think about it for any length of time. It's quite a beautiful loving well-crafted mindfuck but a mindfuck all the same.pookie101 said:id recommend picking up a copy of Killing is Harmless: A Critical Reading of Spec Ops: The Line.. an excerpt is found here https://www.kotaku.com.au/2012/11/read-an-excerpt-from-killing-is-harmless-a-book-sized-reading-of-spec-ops-the-line/
i played the game normally the first time and then read a chapter and then played it and got so much out of it.. well worth chucking a couple of dollars towards the author. its so deep its flooring
