i am looking for a new anime i haven't watched before, im on a huge anime binge and i was hoping you can help me with some suggestions

requirements:

has to have 50 or less episodes
no anime's about robots or samurai's (so nothing like samurai champloo or guren laggan)
No popular anime's such as naruto,One peace, fooly-cooly, bleach, ghost in the shell, full metal alchemist, death note, and code geass as i have either watched them/don't like them. Perferably something much more obscure.

Anime's im watching now so you can get a idea what i like

Claymore
Cowboy bebop
Love hina
Eden of the east
Neon genesis evangelion (evangelion 2.0)
Higashi no naku koro ni
Trigun
The melancholy of haruhi suzumiya
Escaflowne
Slayers/Slayers next
Excel saga
Darker than black
Great teacher Onizuka

also i would like the following opinions on these anime's

Fate stay night
Chrono crusade
Vampire knight
Clannad
Azumanga Daioh
Noein
Elemental gelade
Welcome to the NHK
XXXholic
Big O
Grenadier
Gunslinger girl
ROD read or die

Most of them are alright i guess. Try Chibi Vampire Karin, I found that really cool and only has 24 episodes with no robots or samurais.

I recommend you finish the 13 series you're currently watching.

And on that list from what I've seen.

Welcome to the NHK is loltastic.
Gunslinger Girl is kind of slow for my tastes.
Read or Die was also a little slow and got kind of silly the longer it went on.

Eden of the East, also Durarara!

Only one on your list I've seen is Clannad, which was a really touching story with great characters and great development. Also, really hilarious, but be prepared to shed a few tears unless you have no soul.

First, finish all 13 series you are watching. Damn, I can barely watch two shows at once.

I'll recommend Black Lagoon, Bakemonogatari, Index/Railgun (in that order), and maybe Eden of the East.

Opinions I can give on your list there. Haven't seen all of them.
Fate/Stay Night - I liked it. Follows the Fate route from the visual novel. I liked the combat, specifically.
Clannad - First season alternates between making you laugh really hard, ramming a knife between your ribs, making you laugh even harder so you forget about the knife, and then twisting the knife. Second season almost the same but it becomes a walk down depression alley.
Gunslinger Girl - Pretty solid animation, well thought out story. The second season does not exist. Do not go looking for it. It was never made, you hear, never made.

EDIT: And if you like currently airing anime, try High School of the Dead. Zombies, boobs, misogyny, and gore. Can't go wrong.

Sekirei maybe? 12 episodes in the first season (which there only is at the mo'. The second one is out soon I think). Once you get past all the fanservice, it is a really good anime, with a good plot. You can also watch it on Youtube, on the Funimation page.

EDIT: OH! I forgot to recommend what I usually recommend! Outlaw Star! Tis awesome. And while it doesn't have robots fighting, it does have spaceships battles, and they do have arms. But I really do recommend it.

Fate Stay Night is short, but awesome.

Watched... scenes from gunslinger girl, was okay, but not as deep as everyone thinks it is.

You might wanna watch Persona Trinity Soul, also an excellent anime, even if you haven't played the games.

I've recently started watching Kekkaishi, and have been enjoying it quite a bit.
From what I've seen, it's kind of a mix between Inuyasha and Ghostubsters. Sort of.

Welcome to the NHK - watch it, WATCH IT WATCH IT WATCH IT WATCH IT.

It's slow for the first half of the show if you can't relate because they spend a lot of time exploring different things that Hikkis do. The second half is just an amazing story about finding one's self in society and conquering your own demons. Kind of a coming of age story if you will.

The ending is a little lolwut, if you don't understand that his hallucinations are because of drug use, which is explained in the novel but not in the show.

Fate stay night - Please don't touch it, if you're really interested go get the Visual Novel. It's a million times better.

Clannad - If you have a decent level of empathy and can get into pure honest emotions free of most corruption then you will like it.

Big O - Kind of interesting but the soundtrack is better than the show

Gunslinger girl - I like it, but it's an acquired taste. I can't really recommend it.

As for my recommendation, you might want to check out Ga Rei Zero. Something tells me you might like it.

Finish what you're watching before you go and start more shows. I don't see much of a pattern in the first part, so I'll just respond to the second.

Fate Stay Night - Play the VN instead. The anime turns the three plots into one giant train wreck.
Clannad - Slice of life made by Key; you will probably cry ***** tears. Has one of anime's best supporting male characters
Azumanga Daioh - Funny, if a bit girly
XXXholic - Good premise, but ruined by a crappy main character. Watch Bakemonogatari instead.
Big O - I just couldn't get into this show, but a lot of people like it. MC is Bruce Wayne with a giant robot.
Grenadier - Decent, could have been great without a bratty character that drags down the second half.
Gunslinger Girl - The box art makes it look like an action show, but it's actually more about the toll that's exacted on the girls, who are forced into being government assassins.
ROD Read or Die - This one was just bad. The only reason to watch it is if you need a fix of America bashing.

Of the shows mentioned by others:
Black Lagoon - Yes.
Durarara!! - As soon as you finish Black Lagoon.
Index/Railgun - In the reverse order, when you get around to them.

EDIT: stuff that people mentioned while I was typing

Lucky star - If you're a weaboo with terrible taste you'll love it.
K-on - Better than Lucky Star, but in more or less the same boat. It pretends to be about music, but is actually about girls drinking tea and eating cake.
Outlaw Star - A forerunner of Bebop. Worth your time and your money.
Ga Rei Zero - Divides its time between slice of life and ghost hunting. It's a rarity in that the adaptation is flat out better than its source material.

This ^

Watching too many series at once just makes all the plots get clusterfucked and you lose track

And Black Lagoon only has 24 episodes so doesn't meet your 50 criteria

I'd recommend Soul Eater really since I don't know alot about many series but that one and it matches your criteria a bit

I recommend High School of the Dead, it's new and despite some ecchi moments it is gory, beautiful and will be a hit in no time
