I was wondering what every ones favorite "ohhhh that song" moment has been. You know either you heard a song title and say you've never heard it but can sing it word for word, or you're listening to a song you know you;ve heard before and one line gets you to remember the whole song.

Time Bomb by Rancid has to be mine, played it in Rock Band after downloading it and having friends over insisting I knew it. I was so pumped to have the song ^-^

the song from Requiem for a Dream.

You've heard it, but I doubt you know where it came from.

Nope. 1)I'm apparently incapable of learning lyrics. 2)When I hear people sing, I loose the ability to hear English. 3)I mishear whatever I think I'm hearing. 4)Up until the mid 2000s, I never bothered learning the titles or names of bands of songs I liked back in the 80s & 90s.

"Ooh Child" by Five Stairsteps.

That song eluded me for the longest damn time.

Also "Magic Moments" by Perry Como.

Another classic tune that I eventually found by looking up movie soundtracks.

I had this tune from Dragonball Z for a while now, I had it memorized and everything. Could not for the light of me remember what it came from. I was browsing Youtube one day, and stumbled upon on once again:

It starts around :19 or :20 in.

I thought it was pure awesome.

EDIT: Crap. Anybody know how to embed videos in this post?

Ever since I started playing rhythm games, I get that a LOT. I keep finding songs that I haven't heard in years. I find myself going "HEY! I know that song!" almost every time I look through a new setlist.

I always forget this song even exists when I'm not watching Scrubs or Garden State...

Which is sad because it's pretty cool. And i'm not a huge fan of The Shins.

that song isn't very flattering.

In fact, it used to remind me of my ex-girlfriend. She thought it was sweet. I knew that in fact it wasn't sweet at all. It was a precursor to me dumping her ass.

Mozart! I love classical music sooooooo much.

Or at least Mozart wrote Requiem for a Dream. Not sure if that music was used on the film, although I'm assuming it was...
