What do you like more new games or old games.

My opinion old games are the best because they were pure gameplay and not "O lets make a game which looks good so people will buy it" "thats a great idear we will not need the storyline or gamplay to be good".

Think Quake 2 and Doom 2 are better than Call of Duty World at War or Residant Evil 5.

But thats only my opinion

I think this is a stupid argument that continues time and time again. Neither side wins. Both sides point fingers at specific games. Nobody ever accomplishes anything. Both sides have good games and terrible games. Its just that with older games we tend only to remember the good ones. Argument over. /thread

In many ways I much prefer the older games. They weren't as graphically stunning but they seemed to be more fun in my memory. Maybe because not everything had already been done yet and there was still a lot of NEW to experience. My biggest disappointment is the profusion of FPS games. I am sure some of them are a lot of fun but I can't play them. Something about the perspective makes me nauseous.
