Old Games You've Had an Urge to Play Again Recently.

Well for some reason over the past few days, I?ve developed a powerful urge to replay Myth 2: Soulblighter again. It came out of nowhere and has been getting stronger by the day.
Annoyingly GOG don?t have the game yet and my disc copy was lost many moons ago. I had so much fun with this game back in the day, but sadly never got to play it multiplayer as my internet connection was wank, so I never got to control the bad guys.

I often get this urge to blow the dust of the games of my youth. Rollercoaster Tycoon, Theme Hospital and Age of Empires 2 have all recently been reinstalled. I?m not counting Baldur?s Gate 2, because I?ve never really stopped playing that.

Anyway, what old games have recently wormed their ways into your brain as of late?


EDIT - Old games can either be games you've played before, several times or just games from the distant past. Or in my case, both.

I recently got the urge to play Dawn of war: Dark crusade's singleplayer campaign again. Had some fn but didn't actully stay with it for too long. It was a nice way to waste some time while downloading though.

Found the disc after ten years of losing it. Put the sucker in my computer, installed it, and enjoyed what Maxis was before EA ruined them.

Funny how I just reinstalled Sid Mier's Pirates (2004) yesterday and this thread pops up. Yeah, Pirates is still one of my favorite games of all time, and just as addictive to me as the Civilization series.

Been replaying Silent Hill 3 recently. I always go back to Rome, mainly for the mods.

And it's not really old, but after not playing it for a few months I just started New Game+ on Resident Evil: Revelations. I forgot how amazing the game looks, it puts all other 3DS titles to shame.

Btw, I've also been in a semi-perpetual state of Baldur's Gate 2 ever since its release 12 years ago. Wonderful game, that hasn't lost a fraction of its wonderfulness in all that time.
