Come on, surely there's a song out there that describes who you are. Whether it be done by a mainstream artist or someone out of the blue, it's there. The beat, the lyrics or even just a one liner, it makes you feel connected to the song more than anything else you listen to. Or perhaps it's a song that you can connect yourself to someone else, a friend, a lover, who ever they may be.

Care to share?

Mine would have to be Headlock - Imogen Heap

No song in particular describes me, but that one line from One Week by the Barenaked Ladies describes me pretty well:

"How can I help it that I think you're funny when you're mad? Trying hard not to smile though I feel bad. I'm the kind of guy who laughs at a funeral, can't understand what I mean? Well you soon will."

1000 Good Intentions by Rise Against is probably the song I just feel more connected to than most songs for reasons I do not know. I just really like the song and the sound of it is relaxing to me. I usually am in a better mood after listening to it.

A couple of songs come to mind.

<url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZBQTV1aktg>"Stress" by Jim's Big Ego
I'm addicted to stress
That's the way that I get things done
If I'm not under pressure then I sleep too long
And hang around like a bum
I think I'm going nowhere and that makes me nervous

<url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ktff3bZpux8>"Bullet with Butterfly Wings" by the Smashing Pumpkins
Even though I know
I suppose I'll show
All my cool and cold
Like old Job
Despite all my rage, I am still just a rat in a cage

<url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lBFdX37Qpnk>"Doesn't Remind Me" by Audioslave
The things that I've loved the things that I've lost
The things I've held sacred that I've dropped
I won't lie no more you can bet
I don't want to learn what I'll need to forget

<url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2b8g9HuWpVc>"Take the Long Way Home" by the Bloodhound Gang
Life is an aimless drive
That you take alone
Might as well enjoy the ride
Take the long way home

<url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWgBHomh7fQ>"The Oath" by Street Sweeper Social Club
I pledge - to get their foot off my neck
Instead - I shall demand my respect
I'll fight - even if I won't win
Alright - The beginning is the end

I pledge - to make the bosses cringe
Instead - we'll get some justified ends
I'll fight - til the system is gone
Recite - this ex-loser's song

Pink Floyd - The Trial.
Your a giant ass? (I hope to God you've seen the movie...)
Guitars still suck, By Bumblefoot
I have, got to love The Wall. I meant more the song than the section of the movie.
Yeah, I kinda figured, but the line "cause me to defecate" always sounded strange to me. Damn dirty mind
