Original RPG Settings

Can you guys suggest some original game settings for me that are original (or uncommon)? Something that isn't modern day, nuclear apocalypse, fantasy, or sci-fi. I need some inspiration here!

So, in other words, you're excluding a) Now, b) Bad future, c) Medieval times and d) Good future?

There's not much left once they're removed...

Victorian era/Wild west /w possible steam punk added
WW1/WW2/Cold War

A game set in medieval times doesn't have to have fantasy elements, see Mount & Blade, for instance.
