Out of this world

There are people all over the world who claim to be able to do extraordinary things, such a speak, hear, or even SEE the deceased as well as otherworldly entity's. I myself have experienced such things. Not SEE mind you, but I've had the occasional chat with a people who's lives have passed. I don't expect anyone here to believe me, but I was wondering if anyone on the escapist have had any out of the ordinary experiences.

PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a religious argument of any kind, this is a topic of out of world experiences, I'm trying to avoid any "Does god exist, blah blah blah" arguments or debates in this topic.

Not really no, heard many stories from people but im not inclined to place too much stock in those kidns of things.

Pretty much this. I've hung out with quite a lot of people who claim these sort of things, and I just nod my head and smile politely. It's tough to not simply just tell someone that they're full of it.

I've never experienced it personally, but I enjoy hearing 'official' tales of it happening.

I like to see how many viable solutions I can come up with for every 'magical' occurrence.

I've never encountered an event which didn't have some kind of reasonable cause.

Are you saying you DON'T believe in the flying spaghetti monster? But he is our KING. On topic though, Like I said, I honestly didn't believe anyone would believe in this sort of thing. (hell I don't believe myself half the time) But would you say it's a stretch to believe that things like this are POSSIBLE? If you yourself haven't had any out-of-this-world experiences, You know anyone who has? Or are there any "famous" ones you would like to point out?

You mean you don't believe in the flying spaghetti monster what sacrilege. I'll have you know that some people take the church of the flying spaghetti monster very seriously indeed.

On the subject of the super natural I'm pretty open minded but haven't ever experienced anything at all even in the slightest or know anyone who has however lack of proof is not proof of lack of existence.

I don't believe per say...I think it more as a trick of the mind or eye's/ear's ie when you see something moving at the edge of your vision or hear something, this is generally late at night or under stressful situations. I have seen a "ghost" though or what I believed was a ghost >.>

i've seen the ghost of my deceased grandad in my garden before, and where i saw him nothing will grow, its really creepy

I have seen some weird things. I was working in a restaurant, and I saw a table of four people,two couples in their late 70's dressed fairly nice. That wasn't weird in itself, but I noticed the menus they were holding looked really odd because they were green and white with scalloped edges, and our menus were undecorated yellow menus. Anyway I went to the hostess to see who was waiting on the table, and she didn't know what I was talking about. So I took her to the table and it was empty. No-one else saw the people or knew what I was talking about.

I was also renting a room a couple years ago, and I had objects(candle holder, knickknacks) fly off the tv and shelf at me. The first couple of times it happened I tried to rationalize it(the shelf was slanted or crooked,a strong wind,anything), but after a heavy ceramic figure almost took out my knee from over six feet away, I said "screw this" and moved out.

Also pictures I take have those weird translucent balls in them and they freak me out.
