Pain in Dreams

Yes, I have felt pain. Shot, stabbed, kicked, punched, a whole ton of things. It's not pleasant.

Dont think i've ever experienced pain, but once i was having a dream that i was in a black room, and suddenly a feeling of absolute fear came over me. Never had it since.. think i shouted when i woke up. brr! horrible.

I had that once, my friend told me it's called a night terror.

My memory had blanked it out for a while but it came back to me when i was watching a creepy film and almost went into panic thinking about it.

When I was a kid I used to have terrifying dreams where I was falling, and when I hit the ground I would wake up with a terrible head-ache.

I do. It usually corresponds to some sort of actual physical pain in the real world though. Like I'll wake up in an awkward position, or laying on something sharp, etc.

Never had pain in my dreams. It might not be from your dream and maybe just like a spider bite or something, happens a lot.

You should try lucid dreaming, though. See what happens or if it continues

I get the emotions in dreams like fear and sadness, but I rarely feel pain. In fact, since I can't think of a single example of when I have felt pain in a dream, no, I don't feel pain.

Well, I dream up something random most of the time, but I do remember two dreams like this.
The first was that I got stabbed in the chest for some reason, and I felt the knife enter me. I also felt a lot of pain and pressure where I got stabbed.
The second, which was much worse, was a dream I had about being in what looked like a factory, and being completely engulfed in flames. The pain was excruciating, but after a while I woke up.

I once had the flu and managed to fall asleep and i had a dream where i was jammed into a tight rock crag somewhere in the firery center of the earth. my whole body felt like it was on fire and my head was killing me.

now that was a fever dream

another time when i was feeling perfectly fine i dream that i grew a pair of devil wings and that they ripped through my flesh as they grew and it really fucking hurt!!! i woke up in a cold sweat thinking that was awsome!

I can't remember ever feeling pain, but I do recognize sensations in my dreams.

I dreamed, once, that I took my boyfriend's hand and felt this painless jolt. This might not make sense, but it felt like a thunderclap sounds. And I'm pretty sure that my entire body moved in my bed when I felt it.

...the creepiest one is when I dreamed that someone soaked me in soda, and I could feel the sticky sensation all over my skin.

It's funny because I'm starting to lose my sense of pain IRL, so no, I don't feel pain in dreams, but sometimes I wake up crying.

Oh yes, the good ol night terrors. You know something is wrong inside your head when you wake up screaming. I've had those as well, both types of dreams always leave me feeling messed up. Like I cant really wake up all day.

Oh yes, the good ol night terrors. You know something is wrong inside your head when you wake up screaming. I've had those as well, both types of dreams always leave me feeling messed up. Like I cant really wake up all day.

I can't remember anything surrounding when it happened or how long ago it was, i just suddenly had this memory of feeling extremely scared and screaming but not knowing why.

I had a dream last night where I was raped with a saw blade... Let's just say I'm REALLY happy I didn't feel that pain!

I had the feeling of being very ill during a dream I had. Turned out that dream came true the other day and I felt just the same as in my dream. Strange things happen indeed.

If I do have pain in my dreams, I don't remember it. I'm fortunate enough to not have bad dreams, just pretty bland ones. My subconcious is boring these days. ¬.¬
