Some times when I see this shit I have to repeat the words "Not all Americans are idiots" but some times I guess you can't blame us when it does cross our minds that well "All Americans are idiots" with these type of people. I don't see what Obama is doing wrong, well wrong enough to warrant his death any way. Seeing footage of him out with his family makes him more human to me, he seems like the every day guy. To me Obama is an idealist which is a good thing, some thing you Americans need, even if you don't agree with his policies you must understand that he's doing them to help, he's trying to restore the look of America to foreigners and I guess he's succeeding, Heck I can't even make a joke about stupid American presidents any more.

I don't see what having John Mccain in power would have done to help America, this is the guy who put MMA underground all them years ago and he's pretty much George Bush all over again with his 4 year term I couldn't see anything positive coming from him, America would be exactly the same as it was when he came in as it would when he came out. Every one would still thing Americans are idiots thanks to the whole George bush thing and MMA would probably be illegal again.
Exactly! Seeing him enjoying a basketball game or getting ice cream with his kids makes him more approachable. I mean seriously name another president that was as visable and open as Obama is, I understand that not everybody is going to like him and I accept that but seeing videos like that is uncalled for. I mean hell I didn't like Bush but I still respected the man as my president and would never wish harm on the guy no matter how bad of a president he was.

just like to add to all you apparent asshats in here, that if you wish death upon this pastor for being such an idiot, well, do i need to make it clear for you ? .... well, in case you just kept reading for an explanation, sure, youre doing the same as him, wishing death upon someone because their belief (political/religious/philosophical/logical) is not in tune with yours, is the exact same thing he does. now, who will pray/wish/joke for your death after you have expressed your wish for his ? dammit, now the neverending story tune came up in my head, annoying but ironically well timed ...

_________ (bottom line) just stop doing that, please ?

Oh Muslims and Christians have been killing each others for a couple thousand years. It is just religious war. What else is new?

Id be tempted to pray for that pastor's death...but it wouldnt do anything. Its not a bad thing though. The more this stuff happens, the less powerful they become because people start to realize "Wow...I used to agree with THAT!?"

1. Its a federal crime to threaten the president, whether you like him or not.
2. Matthew 7:1 through 7:6, Leviticus 19:18. Someone needs to read the whole bible, not just the parts that support their argument.

The issue is that the smart bastard has not directly threatened President Obama. The second he does I can promise you he is going straight to jail instantaneously. He will spend many years in Federal Prison. We will all laugh as it happens too. But I really think he is too smart to let that happen. In fact I am pretty sure the Secret service is all up in this guys grill 24 hours a day 7 days week. You can bet his phones are all tapped. His e-mails are all read and recorded. Every move he makes is watched. It will be this way for him for the nect few years. His private life as he knew it is over. What an asshat.

I think when you ask the question "What would Jesus do?" I doubt praying for Obamas death would be the answer.

That pastor is a jackass. Any man of faith should know that God choices his own time to take people. Not only that, but what happened to turning the other cheek?

I guess he got drunk a Marilyn Manson concert and took that whole "We Hate Love, We Love Hate" thing a little to seriously.

You ever get that feeling that several negative emotions are warring in you at the same time, but you can't figure which one to express and just sit there, twitching?
Yup - and it usually means someone is trying to pray me to death.

a) Thankgoodness for the BBC
b) What is it with people assassinating good leaders and then letting rubbish ones live and not actually do anything against him.
c) this pastor is breaking comandments and is abusing his power and influence as a religious leader for his own personal views.
d) Also this is why i like the anglican church.

I do not get it. What did Obama do to this guy for him to want the president dead so bad? Plz someone answer. I heard him say that Obama has something to do with abortion but I do not understand. Still, praying to someone like God to get someone killed is something pretty sick if you ask me. And for a man of the clergy? 10 times sicker. Is there any proof to what this 'pastor' is implying?

I find it sort of funny. AMERICA, the country that has held up the banner saying that they support Change and Progress, is scared when someone actually tries to do something that will benifit ALL people equally. Way to go nation of the Free and EQUAL. tut tut

For the record, fundies aren't representative of Christianity as a whole. I learned many practical lessons in church, and none of them involved hating other people or wishing them harm. They even taught me that 'hell' was not a literal place, and I remember an entire sermon with a title like "The Bible is Not a Science Book".

"They Will Know We Are Christians by Our Love" was one of my favorite hymns. I wish more Christians knew it.
Good hymn and good points :)

Did that pastor not give any thought to what would happen if his prayers were answered? President Joe Biden is nearly as disturbing a thought as President Nancy Pelosi.

I submit that what The Anointed One is up to doesn't constitute what a significant percentage of the population would consider Progress, nor is everyone satisfied with his idea of Change. I, for one, would happily get behind someone whose idea of Progress was a reversal of the trend towards socialism, or an end to the Nanny State. I support equality of opportunity, but that doesn't mean mandating equality of results.
