Patrick Macnee dies at 93

The star of the Avengers, a long running British Spyance Fiction series, has passed away. I only saw the DVD's of the show but it makes me sad. He was an interesting actor and I liked seeing him appear in cameos in other films and T.V. shows. Goodbye Steed, "you're needed" in a better place.

I too enjoyed the Avengers and Patrick Macnee was was perfect as Steed. The combination of Macnee and (now Dame)Diana Rigg was glorious fun

His cameos in other thing were fun too. If it wasn't for his drink problem his career would have been much bigger but as it was he had one iconic roll, which many actors never achieve.
