I just have to say that this game is just wonderful and if the apocolyspe were to happen I would love it to be as beautifuly gorey as this game.
To start off it is vitaly important to say that this game is like God of War and Gears of War rolled into one tasty cupcake mix, it's got rivers of blood (literally), the graphics are brilliant and the detail on characters faces are great. I would never have thought that grabbing a zombie by the head and squashing it like a pea with more blood to come out than that elevator in 'The Shining' would feel so good.
The story in the game is excellant as well, it's cunning, well thought and dasterdly interesting but im not going to spoil any of it for you.
I love the enemies mainly because the normals ones are HUGE, you fight one boss at the start but that is pathetic to the rest of the bosses.
The gameplay has to be the best factor in the whole game, the thrilling combo system keeps me glued to my seat all the way through the fights, and for any Arkham Asylum fans there is Beat em' up room in some parts of the game.

The only bad factors to the game is that you can't tap a sprint button and the camera has a few problems now and again especially when your stuck in a corner by a few enemys but a swing off the Chaoseater will sort that out.

My score for this game: 94%

Perhaps you should try reading some reviews from more experienced posters.

A few examples I managed to find:

Notice the level of detail, the added layer of explanation and the overall padding of the review? These are the sorts of details you're missing. You've got the basics, to an extent, with decent grammar, mixing opinion with explanation and including a conclusion (although loose the score - numbers are a ridiculous way to score games).

I have mixed feelings about this game. it's definatly good and I would reccomend it for anyone who loves Zelda clones or God of War clones, however as the good Decoy Doctorpus put it to me: This game is the definition of Average.

All of it's elements are lifted from other games and done not quite as well. Certain items, suchs as the badass hand cannon Mercy, are more or less useless. Sub Items are only really useful for puzzle solving, The Horn only gets used THREE times, and the weapon slot enhancements are of debatible importance. Gameplay goes from easy, to difficult, to easy again (especially if you get your hands on all the pieces of the Abyssal Armor, good luck dying then). Enemies are challenging only in the way that their attacks are hard to dodge and do too much dmg, or take too much dmg to kill.

But don't let my rant make you think I dislike this game. I did enjoy it, particularly it's subject matter, and thought it was carried off very well (I even gave a small cheer at the climax, even if it was a blatent set up for a sequel). However when compared to the titans it's trying to blatently emulate, it comes off short. Trimming of some of the extranious and unecessary facets of the game, tuning up the central mechanics (fighting and inparticular PLATFORMING needs some adjustment).

Still, for a good Zelda clone I could definatly recommend it and I indeed do, though you may want to wait till it comes down to 40 dollars or so.

Yup, I gotta agree with D_987. You have to expand on this review greatly.
I've got to go with this. More is better in reviews but also provided that its relevant and presented accordingly.

(Did you change avatars Pimp?. You look different!)

May I also suggest photos and some other fun stuff, it really livens up a review. When you're writing a review remember that big clusters of words are unappealing to the eye. Try some better formatting and all the other nifty things you can do on forums and it'll greatly improve your review.

I reviewed this a while back, I thought it was pretty terrible. Just a cross between Zelda and God of War with a bit of Portal and Gears of War thrown in too. The problem was it didn't draw on these influences creatively, instead it just ripped them off in a way far inferior to the originals. Not a terrible game, but not a good one either.
