Title speaks for itself I believe, what special mice, keyboards, etc designed specifically for gaming do you use to get an edge?
Personally I use a Logitech G500 gaming mouse which has been serving me well for about a year and a half now, and only recently started to show it's age, mostly just through a fading paintjob. Although today I dropped something on it and broke the scroll wheel unfortunately... Now it doesn't give a satisfying 'click' when it is pressed in and also alot easier to click it accidentally now that theres nothing inhibiting it. Still usable, and will probably eventually get used to it.
So how bout the rest of you?

eh i kinda splooged for my birthday this past summer, got the DA2 black widow keyboard (back lit and sweet as fuck.) and the razer red mouse to match, shit glows and is sweet.

also got my DA2 mousepad to go along with ALL that, so my death star is complete.

then obviously tack on my red LED lit built tower and my black acer led monitor and wallah. awesomeness.

and i occasionally use my turtle beach gaming headset, don't talk too much on it usually though.

I bought a couple of months ago a wireless Mouse & Keyboard, but as far as I know, they ware not made with gaming in mind, it's a Logitech MK320, pretty cheap and the batteries for both the keyboard (2xAAA, still running full since I purchased it) and the mouse (1xAA, I just had to replace it once, the mouse is very responsive, almost too sensitive for my tastes) last for a long time.

I also use an Xbox 360 controller if that counts too. Oh, I also use a 360 headset, it works even better than a regular microphone.

Other than my ASUS G72GX, I have no gaming-geared PC equipment. I have the most sensitive mouse I could find for under $20 (I know, right?) and a pair of earbuds. I may get a headset when I get home from my internship,so I can coordinate better with my guild. I have always wanted one of those button-slathered MMO mouses, just for the sheer awesomeness of not needing an entire keyboard for all 127 different things I need to spam-click. But I can't honestly be bothered to pay $60 for a mouse.

Dell mouse stock with computer
Dell keyboard also stock with computer
Gamecom head phones and mic.
Thinking about getting a low end gaming mouse, who knows.
EDIT: also a 3 stooges mouse pad and ice tea. Schneiders preferably. It's not as sweet as other teas, but you really get the smooth tea taste.

Well, nothing that was bought to get me an "edge", but a lot of my PC stuff is bought with gaming in mind. My mouse (it's Logitech, don't remember the model) has three extra keys, where I bind hotkeys in. My keyboard is anti-ghosting. My headset (G35) has extra buttons where I can bind my ventrilo/teamspeak controls in so that I don't have to use the keyboard for that.

Currently sporting a Microsoft Sidewinder (think that's what it's called, anyway) that I got at a Best Buy several years ago; I keep it at its max 2000dpi setting, but never use the two thumb buttons... still, it's a solid mouse.

Been wanting to get the Razer Naga Epic, what with its 12 thumb buttons and wired/wireless functionality, but $130 is way outta my current, unemployed budget. :p

Had a Saitek Cyborg keyboard I bought off thinkgeek, but clusters of buttons ceased functioning, so I'm using a super cheap Logitech, curently...

I'm wanting the Tron-inspired keyboard, again from Razer, but I saw that there's going to be a ToR-branded Naga Epic mouse and keyboard coming out sooner or later. Hopefully I can get myself re-employed, accrue enough capital and scoop those up at some point. :p

I am very fond of my mouse,Logitech MX518 which I have been using and ordering a couple every few years. It fits really well in my hand which is why I have no idea to what mouse I will switch too when I can't get ahold of any anymore(they were made in 2003).

Logitech G15 keyboard which I've been using for the past few years. It's quite sturdy and hasn't given up on me yet.

Regarding headsets,I've had very big problems with the cable(wire)getting very fast entangled which => losing connection between computer and headphone(this is due to the fact that the chasis of my computer is on the left side of my feet/body on the ground).I've switched from Razer Piranha to Logitech G35 and now to Steelseries Siberia v2 in a matter of months.A lot of money has been wasted on these headphones and I can't seem to find big enough ones to fit my head(lol).

None ATM, though I am looking into getting some when I'm allowed to spend my money...

Mouse will probably come first, then Keyboard. Headphones are useless for me as I already have a good pair of them for multimedia purposes, but barely use them anyway due to a surround sound speaker system (Amazing using the Sawn Off Shotgun in Bioshock 2. It will deafen the entire neighbourhood on a mid volume range...).

I'm using a Razer Imperator mouse, a Razer Destructor mousepad, a Razer Lycosa keyboard, a Razer Megalodon headset, and a Razer Ferox speaker.

I'm Razer happy!

Just a standard XBox 360 for Windows controller, which I only really use for driving games (too cheap to buy a proper wheel setup / not enough space on the desk anyway).

Dell laptop, Logitech ball on the side mouse, Hi-Grade keyboard I got free ages ago and a USB hub and headset from the pound shop. It all works fine and I see no reason why I should buy overpriced gaming hardware.

Well I have a wireless K&M set sitting under my desk because they aren't ideal for games, the mouse is heavy due to batteries, I always run out of juice at the wort possible moment, and wireless adds extra lag which is hard to tell in normal use but any fast paced game will outline it very strongly.

Then I got a button bukkake mouse which due to my subconscious tendency to squeeze the mouse in thrilling situations does make everything go horribly wrong.

Also have a slightly modded(redesigned cross, elevated sticks, removed vibrators) gamepad for platformers, and a force feedback wheel that I probably used 10 times total... it works great I just don't like racing games, awesome party toy tho.

So normally I just really use the bog standard wired Logitech K&M, reliable as hell, zero lag, works with everything.

I've got 2 logitech USB laser mice, A logitech microphone for voice chat, a logitech attack 3 flight stick (for playing X-Wing and TIE Fighter, natch), and I keep my madcatz usb Xbox 360 controller near my PC in case I suffer massive head trauma and decide that playing games with literally the worst Xbox 360 controller ever made would be a good idea. I also like to keep my lava lamp up on my desk, because no gaming setup is complete without at least one lava lamp and/or disco ball.
Oh, and I keep my laptop up on my desk next to my Desktop, so I can surf the web while I surf the web.

*I would have my PS2 EyeToy hooked up to function as a webcam, but for some reason the drivers won't work on windows 7, so it seems I'm SOL on that one.
