So I noticed someone quote Penn in a thread a few minutes ago and it reminded me of their show.
I always liked Bullshit, but I wanna hear what the escapist has to say.
So thoughts people?

I've seen a few of the episodes, I think they're quite funny and make some good points.

That show is brilliant. I loved their episode about recycling, I'd have never known that recycling is actually counter-productive.

Love the show. Even if you don't agree with them, you have to admit they make some excellent points.

Absolutely love the show. Even if you somehow hate the show, the episode on Violent Games is a must see for any gamer.

They're pretty cool. I especially like their one on gun control, and I'm not even American

I love that show... I watch Penn's podcast even though a lot of the stuff he says is just... wrong. I try not to quote them for fear of historical inaccuracies. But hey, I like their magic.

Most things on the show make me giggle. Though there are some moments where I have said out loud "wow, these guys are kinda being assholes."

There's an episode on prostitution that made me feel a little less alone in my belief. Why not let a woman sell herself, if that's what she wants to do?

They've had a lot of really good episodes which were funny and made excellent points. Some episodes later in the shows run have been a little meh, but you can't expect them to always come up with amazing ideas for a show.

Their magic acts are entertaining as well.

They annoy me no end. The big guy (Penn? I only watched a couple segments) constantly blabbed on and on about things he clearly knew very little about. Reminds me of my sister.

Its fun, but you have to remember they're out there to present their point of view as the only correct one. Typically, this doesn't mean anything, but on occasion it taints every one of their arguments. But damned if I can remember instances of that, as those episodes are almost instantly forgotten.

Though it was hilarious seeing disbarred lawyer jack thompson try to present himself as calm, sane, and intellectual.

I never watched the show. I did just watch the one on gun control that someone just linked in the comments, though. Gotta say that I enjoyed it. I had heard some decent things about the show, and got curious, but never watched it for one reason or another. Think I'll watch a few more if I can find 'em.

By the way, I agreed with them on gun control. That whole thing that concealed carry would result in Wild West type shoot-outs always rubbed me the wrong way. And while some people who had conceal carry permits have committed violent crimes, the percentage of the whole is statistically insignificant. I think you could practically count them on your hands. That's a pretty good record! I just wanted to put that out there.

I've loved that show since I first saw it. But I understand it's a show based around ENTERTAINMENT. Like Michael Moore you have to do a bit of research until you get the whole picture.
Like the episode on PETA. Sure there is some serious corruption high up but they almost completely overlook the moderate supporters. The people who love pets and think wearing fur is wrong. They look like demons when really the people I know in PETA are honest, sane people.
