Well it seems it's going to be an uneventful anti-social weekend for creatures trying to avoid the human condition. And with nothing else better to do - actually, that may not be true due to some depressive procrastination, but shh! - one has to find methods of distraction.

So what better way than to utilise curious temporary free gifts that intend to induce rage-quit so badly that you'll forget any lost love of human interaction and instead want to claw apart their fragile succulent mattresses to frighten them away from sleeping comfortably ever again!

Anymoo, wondered if anybody is finding any joy from these two dem..alph...betas? Annnd what methods they may be discovering that work best for them (not trying to piggyback skills here, really!!). Also opinions and criticisms, as harsh or as sugarcoated as you want, you delicious beasts.

I am a little below average currently I guess, so I'll stick to dem criticisms like a classy bear for now;

Nier NIOH: Got a Hammer and dual katanas. Many systems yet to learn. Ever so slightly stiff combat compared to Dark Souls, plus I'm almost certain the game doesn't always register some attack button presses as I leap on an unsuspecting foe only to just stand there in front of him like a fool. Stamina meter is fine, but the extra quick regen move can be a bit annoying when you have to flick between checking to see if you are being attacked or if you can press the button optimally yet in the space of nanoseconds. Also no auto-lock after killing one out of a group of enemies?

Titfall 2: Large open maps that, when you overstep some arbitrary boundary limit, have a highly annoying "out of bounds, you heathenist traitor! 5-3 seconds to die!" Which ruins an otherwise pleasant and paranoid stroll as you try to battle an overzealous wallrun and unwieldy grapple-hook by clipping into a tree as the game assassinates you, losing half your earnings. But otherwise mostly fun. Titans can fall and be destroyed as you're getting into them though, which is a little pang of disappointment just when you think you're about to take angry robotic revenge on everybody.
Tips would be...slide. Slide everywhere! Once I killed a guy as we were both sliding towards each other around a corner. It was a beautiful moment of mortal ballet. And cores...they can be pulled out of titans and picked up by by them or pilots.

Any other tips, points of interest and opinions are always appreciated. I didn't see any topics for anybody wanting to cover this, so now there is one!
