Personality quirks (or disorders, whichever)

This thread is devoted to the little quirks about us that we know are odd, but don't interfere with our normal lives.

For example, every time I go to Cracker Barrel (To foreigners, it's an old-timey restaurant all around the US) I always have to arrange the colors in the triangle puzzle so that they form a symmetrical, neat, and orderly shape. Often times there are pegs or even entire colors missing, so I have to make do or get colors from other tables. One time I even took another puzzle from the table of a family that was eating, put it up next to mine and used those pegs to make a whole nother shape.

Also, a friend of mine refuses to touch any silverware on the end that is used to handle food. Any time he sees one facing face up in the drainer, he has to wash it off before he uses it. He actually says this is because he was in prison, and now knows the necessities of cleanliness.

But those are just two of my examples. What're yours?

Whenever I do the dishes I have the same problem as your friend. Plus I find it necessary to creep around the house without alerting others to my presence. In a non-creepy sounding way, that just means I don't like making a lot of noise.

I'm OCD about my game cases. Never touch them, only the edges.

When I'm putting my game discs back into their cases, I need to make sure they're lined up perfectly even. It can be a bit problematic when putting away PSP games.

Which reminds me, I also get very pissed if people don't handle my discs right. If they touch the shiny side and/or put it in a place where it could get scratched, they get an earful of shit.

I'm remarkably sociopathic.

But I'm also inherently nice. So although I may tend to disregard rules, I never do it in a way that would affect anyone negatively.

All my games have to be in their cases and the cases are arranged by console and alphabetical order. Once my mom took LittleBigPlanet out to look at the case and then put it back before inFamous. As she was walking out the door I said "I comes before L" twice and finally yelled it when she ignored me and walked away.

I'm over protective of my books and dvds, I don't like people touching them on the off chance that they ruin them. It's alright with some of my friends though because I know they will replace it if they ruin it.

I do the exact same thing. I came home today from a day out with friends and didn't say "hi" to my family or anything, just went straight to my room (which is, thankfully, behind their field of vision).

However, I then proceed to have everyone make a larger deal out of my avoiding everyone than the deal of saying hello to my family...

Did I mention I have social anxieties?

I sometimes randomly convulse. Oh yeah, that's epilepsy.

I tend to be hard to offend, but easy to piss off.

I love Cracker Barrel by the way.

Whenever I am doing anything in my room I must keep my doors closed, chairs must be put under the table when someones not on them, I read people very well and can tell mot of th tmeif someone is lying.
Oh and also whenever I go anywhere I try and see how tatical the area would be for a swat assault but that might just be from playing Vegas 2 too much

I know everything about the field of vision. I can pretty much get around without people seeing me. Only problem is, my parents were both MP's so I have a hard time not being seen, at least by my step dad.

Ooooooo! I'm like that too! I'm always looking for entry points.
And the chair thing. It drives me nuts.

I have a very special way of eatting two slices of bread with butter.
It there is a broken clock, I have to throw it out. I can't stand having broken clocks around.

I have a dodgy brain-mouth filter. Sometimes if I'm thinking something, say, an observation about a strangers appearance, I vocalise it unintentionally.

I tend to act out my thoughts (much more than the odd hand-gesture), as i tend to think in both words and images/visuals and i copy the visuals while i talk my word-thoughts ...
