Well where do I start? Redeads Wallmasters Pyramid Head...

In Diddy Kong Racing, a racing game with Diddy Kong and other fuzzy animals, there are 2 endings to the game. One where you beat all the standard tracks in 1P, and another when beating the harder secret tracks. The first ending has the gang partying on the beach because they killed the bad guy (a giant Wizard Pig named Wizpig) who was trying to, I dunno claim the land as his own. Well the scene was so happy and as a kid I really connected with them in a deep level so I was happy too when they were in conga lines and playing around. Then the camera pans over to the side to the lighthouse (which plays a role in the secret stages) and the music turned from happy to dark. And I saw Wizpig hiding behind the lighthouse! It scared me so bad and crushed my heart, the next scene is cut in with a flash and a lightning sound, and you see wizpig terrorizing the gang. So obviously the game isn't done and you gotta fight him in space and ultimately send his rocket into Pluto or something. But still it was a-scary!

So I guess I have a fear of wondering if the boss is really dead, JRPGs tend to fuck with me like that.

Well I do hate bears so obviously when one chases me my first instinct would be to run away. So I is that I have the common courtesy to close doors behind me as well. Boy was I surprised in condemned 2 when the Bear bursted through the door.

I also hate Emo chicks. They always kinda freak me out. So obviously you can see why I hate fucking with the witch.

My phobias never affect my gaming, because it's a game.

I don't care how immersive or realistic looking something is, as long as I'm looking at a screen it isn't real.

I have a major fear of spiders so sometimes that comes over in gaming. The worst so far had to be Star Ocean on the PS2, the jumping spider enemies really creeped me out.

Nope needles only bother me when they are going in my arm not in my videogame character's arm.
I've always wondered if people with a needle phobia could handle playing BioShock, or if it would mess with them.

I don't have any phobias.

I can't stand when dolls come to life. That is the only thing that really gives me the creeps in a game. Pyramid-head rape? No problem. A two foot tall doll wielding a knife running at me? Run like hell!

Funnily enough, I didn't have a big issue with them, or the demonic spiders in Penny Arcade Adventures, or the giant magma spider thing in Devil May Cry, probably because they weren't done in a realistic enough fashion. But I still nearly crap myself whenever I have to deal with Skulltulas (either in OoT or Twilight Princess), and I nearly got myself lasered to death in RE5 because the wall I was hiding next to had two spiders on it. Two spiders that COULD NOT HURT ME in any way, shape, or form.

...Yeah.

Oh god, how could I forget the Skulltulas? They didn't bug me all the time, but dammit if they surprised me...

I used to have a real problem w/ swimming underwater in games like Banjo-Kazooie and Super Mario 64 when I was growing up. That sort of stems from a fear of drowning which I have since overcome. I have never been afraid of swimming or large bodies of water in general, but scuba-diving at night in the ocean or in unlit/unmapped caves scares the shit out of me.

I hate broken glass freakout moments otherwise known as 'jumpout scares'.
They still get me, even in games.

I'm too afraid of clicking on it. Luckily Youtube is apparently blocked here in Turkey.

Well I used to be kinda creeped out by the skull-spider things in Zelda(can't remember the name) but that was when I was about 7 years old. One that still kinda creeps me out is the crazy beastily strong rhino-like enemies of Metroid Prime 2. What really got me was when they followed me into the water and cornered me against a door that for some reason refused to open.

Wallmasters, the drowning music from Sonic, the Bridge Boss on Darkwing Duck for the NES... I can't really remember another one from a video game just now, so I'll say one from TV. On the Magic School Bus, in that episode where Arnold takes off his helmet in space and freezes over... I got so many nightmares about that. I used to have a lot of nightmares about being stuck in a crane which contained 'nothingness'.
