That character will now be getting their own movie and/or a spot in the Avengers sequel (not necessarily on the team, just in the movie somewhere)

How do you feel about your choice?

For me it was Hit-Monkey

...I like that he really is an actual monkey lol no super powers, no advanced intelligence, not capable of speech...just a monkey in a suit who kills killers.

I didn't like the Avengers movie that much, so I'd rather my character stay separate..

http://marvel.com/universe/Penance_(Robert_Baldwin)

His powers are fuelled by his pain, so he has a suit full of spikes that make him bleed... ouch.

.....I'm sorry, that character just screams 'wangst' to me......

On topic.... I guess Luke Cage or Dr. Strange?

He was better as Speedball. As Penance he just seems like an attempt to draw people who like lots of angst in their comics in.

OT: Warlock of the New Mutants.
Hes a great character. Shame he is one of the older ones who doesn't get as much as a spotlight anymore.

Squirrel girl. Get Sam Raimi to direct it the way he directed Army of Darkness (as opposed to the way he directed Spiderman) and I would pay good money to see that movie.

For those who don't know, she's a gag character that S.H.I.E.L.D. considers the most powerful and dangerous superhero on earth. She defeated Thanos on her own, off panel.

Clearly, the answer must be SNOWFLAME! The cocaine powered supervillain!

...oh wait, he's DC, isn't he? Screw it, give him a movie anyways.

Can Sif count? *points to avatar* I love Sif. She's awesome. I'd love her to be more prominent in the Marvel movies, though she was pretty cool in Thor. She's just more important in the comics, you know? Jane Foster can suck it. Hell, her and Beta Ray Bill could have a spin off. That would be kind of cool.

Kain, Spider-Man's clone who isn't afraid to use guns.
But more suited for adaptation, Type-Face, I fucking love this guy.
No powers, only skills and cobbled together weapons made from letters.

Squirrel Girl.
Good answer, but she's way too powerful to put in a movie; there's no threat that could reasonably challenge her.

...Okay, I was being ironic there. But seriously, she took down Doctor Doom once.

Dr. Doom? She took down Thanos, the guy who's gonna be the main villain of the next Avengers movie. And it was a minor enough incident that she did it off panel. That's power XD

Grasshopper, shortest movie ever. Joins Great Lakes Avengers, a couple seconds later, boom, headshot.

Weird thing is, he used to be Speed-Ball, the happy-go-luckiest, quirkiest, silliest comic relief character Marvel had to offer. During the Civil War story line, he turned into penance, in the biggest, most jarring shift of tone any super hero comic character has ever seen!

OT: Well, Speed Ball I guess. He'd show up, do a silly, quippy joke, then piss right off, only to return as some horrible Silent Hill monster.

Mr. Immortal.

Then the question remains of what genre that movie would be. I'm guessing horror-comedy.

I picked the Black Fox, an international jewel thief (who's way past retirement age) who usually ends up getting caught between Spiderman and someone else with actual powers and who usually gets arrested as an afterthought once Spiderman has stopped Hobgoblin from nerve gassing Times Square or something.

If he got a role in the Avengers movie, it would end up with him stealing a ruby necklace, followed two seconds later by Thanos destroying the Earth.

Stilt-man! No, wait, he's just plain obscure.

Hank Pym. He's actually an avenger after all and I want to see them try to write in his, relatively, lame powers. Size changing and controlling ants seem lame as compared to, you know, green rage beast or demi-god (but cooler then being super good at archery).
