Could this be the new Assassin's Creed setting? Looks interesting to me! What do you think, can you see yourself climbing the pyramids as an ancient egyptian assassin?

EDIT; This news story appears to be related to the next in the Trilogy, not AC; Brotherhood, which appears to be a multiplayer mode for AC2. The story says that UbiWorkshop stated "This has nothing to do with Brotherhood"

I'm hoping for Feudal Japan myself, Assassins creed 3: Modern Warfare isn't my cuppa tea.

Could be a mixture of both, like missions with Desmond in the present day and maybe going to the animus to search for more clues.

So in this image we have Pyramids, a Red Rising sun, an Eagle, and a Samurai-ish guy.

Lots of scope there.

I bet they're saving that as a trump card or something.
But its a trilogy i thought? isn't this the last one?..

Maybe they need you to go back in time (Well not really..But you know what i mean!) and kill various basterds to learn something in order destroy the Templars in the Present really bloody easy..Yeah that seems like a cop out Ubisoft would do.

The next AC game will revolve around Ezio, and be multiplayer.

After that, it is speculated to be set in modern times.

Honestly, if you follow the story, you cant expect more. They cant keep saying "Back to the Animus, we were wrong. Get training again here"

Hmm, looks interesting, but I'll elect to hold my breath and wait for an official announcement. Personally, while Egypt sounds like a pretty cool setting for an Assassin's Creed game, I thought they were aiming for a feudal Japanese setting. Still, I'm hoping for one set in ancient Rome myself.

I wouldn't really call him a samurai... He's got a scarab on his stomach... But there is definately a lot of scope.

Technically that's not AC3, thats Brotherhood, it's essentially just AC2 multiplayer. I think this is real sequel.

Shame...I was hoping for fuedal Japan or the 18th century Carribean, myself. That would be awesome. I can't imagine how Egypt would work...

Ancient Egypt has that epic quality to it that I think would serve Screed well. Plus lots of big buildings. That said, I'll be happy as long as it's not present day.
