Pikachu! I don't know if I should choose you.

I recently found my DS with a pokemon sapphire game in it and started to play it. I am now curious as to what DS pokemon game to get. A friend suggested i should get Platinum because of the new Pokemon and new bosses and what not. But I am now curious as to how fun SS and HG are since they are newer.

Which game should i choose? I have not played either one before.

i would go with hg ss i dont have a ds but if i did i would chose one of them look at the exclusive Pokemon and pick one one with the ones you like.

In my opinion SoulSilver is better. But if you want, get Platinum also.

I can't give opinion for the SS because I haven't played it. I was never a huge fan on Gold or Silver. I'm broken.

I really did enjoy Platinum however, most fun I have had with Pokemon since Red and Blue.

SoulSilver or Platinum would be my top picks. SoulSilver would be the one I would most recommend, but getting both might not be a bad idea.

It really depends, in theory the Heart Gold and Soul Silver titles (both the same really besides a couple Legendaries, it's just personal preference) are the superior titles. They're more recent and have several great features.

Platinum, on the other hand, is technically the newest in the series story wise. It's a really great game that offers a slightly different experience then HG/SS.

You're obviously not new to Pokemon, so I'd say to make your decision easier think of it this way: If you've played the original Gold or Silver before, go with Platinum. If you haven't, then defiantly go with Heart Gold or Soul Silver.

I love Soul Silver, its really gotten me back into Pokemon. Not to mention its a brilliant remake of the best generation of Pokemon ever, you should deffinitely get that first.

Soulsilver Is a brilliant re-visit to Johto, I actually enjoyed it compared to platinum which was terrible.

HG and SS are fantastic because thay add buckets of content to what many regard as the best generation and they bring all the improvements of gens 3 & 4. Platinum is GREAT and definitly worth the look.

Get HG/SS and try to find Platinum for cheap.

i suggest you get a decent game, not a pokemon game, try fable if you like that kind of thing, oh and that new transformers game has pretty good gameplay, despite having horrible writing
and bioshock is just all around awesome
