This is the FBI,stay where you are, sir. Personally I only see the one that put the movie up for download in the first place doing something illegal.

Well as you torrented it you also uploaded it to other people to download, so that's distribution.

According to the law no, personally since you already paid for the rights to own the movies I don't see a problem but you know thats like my opinion and such.

Sorry, bro.
Well that sucks... How can movies over itunes cost more money than a dvd, remove extras and force us to watch it over itunes?!

Nope, it is not legal.

And it's not popular with the mods either. You might get mod-wrath for this.

I say go for it, no harm is done here.

I thank the gods for Norway's reasonable laws that allow this.

Because they know people will still buy them.

I never liked buying stuff from iTunes. I just buy DVD's over the internet instead.

Technically it's not legal. If you wanted 2 copies of the movie, you have to buy 2 copies of the movie. Sucks, but it's true. This is coming from the guy who owns three separate copies of Call of Duty and Call of Duty: United Offensive and has lost at least one disc for each one but refuses to pirate it.

You're paying to caress Steve Jobs... 'ego,' not for movies.

Didn't you know?

Technically speaking, it's still illegal according to your laws, assuming you live in pretty much any of first world countries.

But then again, why does one care so much about legality? Laws can be stupid, and just because something is illegal doesn't mean it's justified and that you shouldn't do it. Many countries still hold homosexuality as illegal, and most reasonable people would disagree with that.

Sure, it's not the best comparison here, but the point I'm trying to make is this: Just because something is illegal means nothing, especially when you don't get punished for it.

Of course, I do not personally condone piracy or any illegal activity. Kids, stay away from drugs, and all.

Fair Use failed in court due to DMCA, so it is technically illegal.

I'm pretty sure the studios can also take legal action if you show the movie outside the owners home and if the tv is more than 50". Don't quote me on that, but I know you can't technically take a DVD to a school and show it to the kids.
