Any suggestions for pirate games

I thought this was a thread about piracy at first. You can go with the classic Sid Meier's Pirates.

Oh, you're talking about games that are about pirates? Ahem. Uh, Age of Booty looked pretty good.

Despite many attempts I honestly feel this is the only good pirate game that's ever been made. Ever. Unless you count the Monkey Island games.

there was one for the wii, though it wasn't a "serious" game on it's own, it was more like a minigame
it's called Pirates vs Ninjas, basically it's a dodgeball/volley ball game between pirates and ninjas

You could play Etrian Odyssey 3. It may not be a strict pirate game... But, it has Buccaneers and sailing.

There's almost no chance that you could play it, But Skies of Arcadia for Dreamcast was a good one back in the day.

Cid Meyer's Pirates, and all the Monkey Island games.

Come to think of it, I can't think of any newer pirate games. Not even any privateer games. Strange that.

That's all I can think of, both the game and the mod.

Well, there is the Monkey Island series. Or any of the Pirates of the Carribean games based off the movies.

Pirates of The Burning Sea is a pretty good MMO and its free to play.
If you like ship to ship combat the best game i can recommend you is to play sea battles in Empire/Napoleon: Total War.

Puzzle pirates :3, politics and skill based games allow you to be the best if you're good at puzzles/gambling etc. Get a boat and crew and yeh every island is owned by players and their monarchy as well as each shop! and almost every week they are fought over by crews
