Hey, I haven't seen a plainwalkers thread lately, just thought we could talk about the decks and different strategies. I play Vamps, do well against any deck except Realms and wielding steel, anyone got tips? What is your favorite deck and play style?

The monoblue Illusions deck is Quite fun, and the amount of land
Per turn as that "ancient depths" green/blue is awesome!(Think that was the name)
I Dont really like the changes to tezzerets artifact deck or nissas elf deck however:/

I never played the first, I'm loving the black deck, ancient depths is probably one of the most powerful

I usually play the artifact deck. I don't really have a clear-cut strategy for that.

I also like to play the green-blue Ancient Depths deck, with high-ramp and high-risk tactics (as in removing most of the low-end creatures from the deck and hope for the big baddies to come up as early as possible)

Excuse me, but what are "painwalkers"? "Painwalkers" sounds like a marathon where the contestant have either fibromyalgia, arthritis, scoliosis, or joint inflammation.

(NOTE: I am not trying to make fun of anybody who has any of the problems I just mentioned. It was all in good fun.)

EDIT: OH, WAIT! It's pLainwalkers! I'm still curious about what a plainwalker is, though.

I'm recently am playing around with the vamps deck. Took out all the bloodlust cards, which I hate with a passion. What I love about black is it's ability to instakill with effects, so maximize that, minimalize unnecessary offense.

Besides that, I love the artifact and White deck. White I took out some of the weak no-effect creatures and the Sword of War and Peace (I think that's what it's called).

And the artifact deck is so much fun when it all comes together. Very good synergy to where no matter what card you play it will benefit you. Also it's closest to my irl deck.
