Play PS3 in a movie theater?!

been playing the uncharted 2 demo quite a bit since wednesday. really liking shooting people while hanging off a ledge lol.

apparently, on tuesday (oct 6) for those lucky enough to live in the fine cities of LA, San Fran, Seattle, and Chicago, you will be able to play uncharted 2 in a movie theater. i am definitely goin to the one in LA.

I live close to Chicago, but, I don't want to.
I'd have to drive up, to play a game for a short amount of time when I could just rent it at a blockbuster that I live 30 seconds away from and play it in my comfortable bed.

that's true, but so is everybody else. idk, since i was a kid, going to the movie theater was always about going like 30 minutes early to play in the arcade, then i would go in the theater and be like "wow, imagine super nintendo on this screen!" haha

so i just played about 30 minutes worth of single player mode at my friend's place. he got the damn game for free last night at the uncharted 2 cinema event in LA. they gave one out to everyone who was there. i hope i can get a copy tonight when i go.

Initial Reactions:
- Transitions between gameplay and cut scenes are seemless, and be ready cuz there are alot of cut scenes.
- Graphics are unreal. i thought when i first saw Killzone 2 i was amazed, but this is even better.
- Really does feel like you are watching a movie.
- Stealth tactics are really fun and some of the sneak attacks are pretty sick.

some people are already selling the complimentary gifts from the cinema event on Ebay lol.

No, Uncharted wasn't fun for me, so I don't think Uncharted 2 will be. Also, I'm not sure how that's going to work. What, 50 people sit and take turns playing? Either that or a massive splitscreen that destroys all ability to use audio.
