So the sitchoo is this: My buddy and I are competitive dudes who love getting the basics down in games and then getting to play with the strats/mindgames that follow. The problem is he can be terribly annoying at times.
Now I'm all for some good banter and taunts at the right and odd time but with this guy it never stops. After every win or good move there'll be a verbal confirmation of how great it was and how I was bested. In most cases it's fine by me, it's just his style but where I start to get annoyed is when we're playing something new to me that he's got years of experience with. I'm obviously the lesser skilled player still learning and to have it thrown in my face grinds my gears.
So what's the deal? I never kick a guy when he's down or throw how great I am at my opponent. To me it's all about respect, fair play, and typing your gl-hf's and gg's. Even when he doesn't get under my skin I think it's just straight up disrespectful which makes even the good games a bit of a chore on occasion.
