Hello Everyone. I just got a PS3 today and while playing Demons souls the system froze and the screen had "snow" on it, flickering between a couple different patterns. So I restarted and tried Dark souls, after a little bit it did the same thing. This is a used PS3 from Gamestop and chances are I'm going to be returning it tomorrow, but I would like to know what could be causing this. Thank you for your help

It's interesting, had your issue been with Skyrim I would have suggested deleting and reinstalling the game data, as well as turning off any auto-save functions, but apparently Demon's Souls has no install data aside from the standard trophies.DarkShadow144 said:

In addition, I played it offline as I have crap internet (never use AT&T), which shows up as an issue on a few forums. Might want to give that a try just to see. The most likely explanation is because it's a refurb. Several forums show people switching from one console to another and having no issues.
