IM kinda suprised by this...I mean sony has a history of copying Nintendo but they dont really have an established roster of characters that are beloved and associated with the playstation brand. At least not to the level nintendo has.

why fix what ain't broken, Sony knows this game will sell like wildfire, i'm sure as hell going to buy it if its as fun as it looks, and Sony does have a vast roster of characters dating back to PS1 days, which i'm more than confident that they will be going in to

Does Sony have enough memorable characters these days to make a Mascot Fighter? I mean, they DID back on the PS2. But they abandoned all their interesting characters when they thought BLURAY was a better mascot for their new system.

To repeat what I said in another thread on this topic, I liked the gameplay of SSB, but not the characters. I don't care about Pokemon, Mario or Zelda. I DO care, however, for Drake, Kratos and Cole. So, this game has a market, and I'll be happy to play it. Yes, it's a complete rip-off, but if it were up to me, everry single platform would have one of these. Then in the end they could do a massive cross-platform crossover.

Honestly, this game looks really bland so far. I understand that it's not finished but as far as visuals go, Brawl looks quite a bit better IMO.

I also kind of hate the idea that characters don't have life bars, you can only kill someone by building up enough energy to use a special. So the game is basically, whoever saves up for their level 3 special first wins.

Hopefully they change this and spruce it up a bit more but so far I am uninterested.
