Playstation Plus - is it worth it?

Who here has it? I'm thinking about getting it and it'd be nice to hear the pros and cons of it. Thanks escapist - hope I don't sound too demanding!

I think it depends on what is on offer. I got my top-up card of £20 when there was £40 worth of free games on offer like Stacking and Lead and Gold. The morning I typed it in though all there was were a couple of sub-par arcade shooters and the original Sonic the Hedgehog.

I think if you get the year-long subscription you get a great deal of content for the price. You just have to remember though once your subscription ends, you lose access to all the PSN+ conent you've downloaded until you resubscribe.

My friend got the Fallout 3 DLC free (All 5) or something late last year

but I have an xbox so I cant say for myself

I wouldn't say so. It does annoy me the auto game updater is Playstation Plus though.

I'm seriously considering doing it... I don't know if I've officially given my soul to playstation though once I purchase it.
