Please help me remember this movie title?

Hello, new to the formus, sorry if a thread like this is not permitted, I tried the search form and didn't quite get an active thread like this one so I thought I'd make one. Again my apologies if it's not permitted/frowned upon.

Okay then. This movie I'm trying to remember is a 90s, possibly late 80s sci-fi/horror movie, about a group of people stranded in a desert of sorts, fighting for their lives against a horde of rotating mouths/mechanical round chainsaws/metal round jaws. They're extremely peculiar, a very very creepy/eerie type of monster.

It might actually be the second Screamers movie.

You see, Graboids from Tremors aren't machines, and the original Screamers don't have round mouths of saws/jaws because they're really mobile sword (self-guided buzzsaws). However, in the second movie, the Screamers have been self-updating so much that they come in enough variations to be what you are reminded of.

I thought Screamers too. I've only seen the sequel though, and thought the ending was kinda retarded.

Oh wow, thank you for the help! Actually it's not one of those movies - I'll try to be more precise, sorry.

The monsters had no body, they were just mouths, round, metal, that spinned/vibrated fast. You really didn't see anything else of them. I think it was CG, too, early 90s, fuzzy CG. The people in the movie got sucked in some kind of wormhole to another weird dimension, and found themselves in this kind of deserted, inhabited by those monsters.

Again thank you for your help though! I think I'm gonna watch Screamers tonight, hah.
