Huh, never thought about that. Good point. Maybe they did notice them and chose not to mention it?Irridium said:When the collector ship takes off after it takes a colony. How the fuck does no one notice the giant ass scorch marks that the massive thrusters would have made? Its just stupid.
Well, you could assume that it was the only time they left a colony non-stealthily. They were kind in a hurry with those cannons firing at them on Horizon.Irridium said:When the collector ship takes off after it takes a colony. Yeah, but after it left a giant scorch mark on horizon, don't you think Shepard would use that as proof that humans are being targeted by the collectors or something?Axeli said:Well, you could assume that it was the only time they left a colony non-stealthily. Seeing how the ship stays in the air without any noticeable thruster flames, it should be able to exit the atmosphere without leaving a city sized scorch mark if it moved slower.
Actually I don't think they're nuking the battlefield. Concidering that you never see an explosion, I'm assuming they dropped the bomb a few miles away, and you're just dying from the radiation.pirate64 said:MW2 nuke......... Well, that's a bit different plot hole, isn't it? I don't really know why the Council and Alliance won't start helping you at that point. I suppose they are just really slow to react since the colonies are technically not in their jurisdiction anymore and there's still not evidence of the Reapers.Irridium said:Yeah, but after it left a giant scorch mark on horizon, don't you think Shepard would use that as proof that humans are being targeted by the collectors or something?Axeli said:Well, you could assume that it was the only time they left a colony non-stealthily. Not to mention having half the colony surviving, and seeing what is really happening. Shouldn't Shepard have used them as proof as well?
Well, if we're going to say that multiplayer has a plot, I'd be more concerned with the fact that those 26 kills consisted of 5 different people.pirate64 said:MW2 nuke......... All of this is a moot point. Yes it is a plothole, yes it makes little sense, but there wouldn't be a game if the council and the Alliance teamed up to eliminate the Collectors/Reapers. Personally, the more they ignore me the better.Axeli said:Well, that's a bit different plot hole, isn't it? I don't really know why the Council and Alliance won't start helping you at that point. Although... You do find out that Cerberus does have pretty massive proof of them. It's a bit odd that Shepard won't and can't point out they should have enough to get the Alliance and Council to act. And I do think there are couple times when the Illusive Man openly explains Shepard how he's hiding evidence of the Reapers and Collectors from the rest of the galaxy without Shepard even objecting.

I assume you're referring to the previous colonies that were attacked. You know, I never thought of that. Maybe their ships don't leave scorch marks, after all they're propelled by Mass Effect fields, not internal combustion.Irridium said:When the collector ship takes off after it takes a colony. You could ask that about all the character but Ashe and Basch.Ranorak said:Final Fantasy XII

Why is she even there?!
The Fallout world is not our own, but it diverged from ours soon after World War II. So while it takes place in the future, it is not our future, but the future as imagined in 1950s science fiction.Celtic Predator said:Probably Fallout 3. Before the nukes fell, it was already some hundred years in the future, but after everything settles all the art and clothing and especially music is old-fasion, instead of futuristic. It definitely added to the game's atmosphere but confused me a helluva lot. Can anyone explain?
