Pokemon black and white 2? Why??

Okay it's insanely early to perhaps judge this, but as a die hard of the handheld classic series Pokemon. I gotta say, I'm completely dumbfounded by this move. In case you don't know of it yet, GameFreak is basically ditching the usual plan of a 3rd version(Pokemon Grey) for TWO "new" versions Black 2 and White 2. With the small bits of info revealed the main "attractive point" is that one of the legendary gets alternate forms(You know, just like in Plat?) so with only that out how can the fan base be so hyped unless I've missed more info? I mean I love playing these games to death and I played Black and White(Not nearly a favorite) to me those versions really should have been the end game aside the remakes on DS for the originals and Hoenn league.

So Pokemon fans, what do you think? With the little info we have are you the least bit interested or are you with me on just literally facepalming at a once glorious game series?

They would have announced "Pokemon Gray" if all they meant to do was a "new" version of Black/White. These sound like true sequels.

People wanted Pokemon to change things up and now that it's trying...there's bitching? Why am I still shocked? No one in this industry, not you or even I, deserves anything nice. People think they know what they want, and when they get it, more bitching.

I hope one day Nintendo gives everyone the finger by giving Zelda to Tale of Tales and Pokemon to Jason Rohrer or some crazy shit like that.

Heh. I was holding off from buying Black or White just so I can get a Grey. Then, I could get both of the cover mascots without having to trade (Wifi in my house is unreliable). I'm not in any hurry to get any Pokemon games new anyway.
