Now i just found my old stash of pokemon cards and it brought back loads of memories my favorite card was my acient mew i have. so my question to you guys who were around when pokemon cards first came out is, what was your favorite card?

I never had a favorite, even though I had tons of them.
I had every pokemon card that was released before the cards for the Silver and Gold games came out.

Ancient Mew was my favourite, too bad I never had one. I still want one though.

My Charizard or Ninetails. They were both rather cool.

Mewtwo. I have several Ancient Mews, about 7 regular Mews, an Entei, Charizard, etc, but no card is more loved than my various Mewtwos.

I always liked Hitmonchan's card.

A great card, really. 70 HP, a 20 Damage/One Energy Attack, and 40 Damage/3 energy attack.

My favorite was always my Sandslash...

I had a folder full of them, with those little slots and everything. I made some good money in Elementary school from selling all of mine before the fad died out...

I had a legendary one, but I just can't remember which, I also had a "new" legendary, but I was never very fond of it.

I had a holographic Gyarados and a holographic Golduck with Japanese text.

God, holographics were the sh*t back in the day.

I sold most of my other ones.

i was given about 100 of them when my cousin got bored of them. took em to school ready to join in with the daily game and everyone was bored of them. seem that as soon as i got some pokemon cards they were no longer cool...story of my life,

I can't for the life of me, remember Pokemon cards :/ I only remember the anime and the sticker albums.

...I have exactly one Pokemon card in my dorm room, and it's Ancient Mew. Coming in close is my giant promo translucent plastic crystal Ho-oh, and the fairly recent giant promo Darkrai. With those and the Birthday Pikachu... is it just me, or are all my favorite cards tournament-illegal?

I did collect them, but I never played the game. Nobody in my estate was interested, nor was any of my family members.

As for my favourite card.

He's just awesome.
