Pokemon is out 3 weeks before 3DS. Buy old DS or wait? D:

So pokemon black and white comes out on the 6th. The 3DS comes out on the 27th. I don't currently own any DS. That means if I want to play it I have to either blow 100 bucks on an old system or wait 3 weeks for the new system. What would you do in this situation? :<

I would wait. You wont regret it in the long run, the 3DS will prove to be a much better investment if you have the cash to throw at it.

Yes I suppose you are right. The steady relationship will beat the fling in the long run. Shouldn't be stooping to a lower system than I have to for one game. I think I'm going to wait

If you're planning on buying a 3DS anyways, just wait.

Just wait. Unless you have a reason to but an old DS (i.e., ability to play GBA games), just wait to buy a 3DS when it comes out, since it'll also run DS games.

Although if you want Victini for the new Pokemon games, you might want to find a friend with a DS.

Oh yeah good point. I'll have to start poking around for friends who have a DS. Really wish Nintendo has put these release dates closer together.
