So people here who like/play Pokemon, what are your favorite musics from the whole series of main games? Since there's so many Pokemon games in all, let's just narrow it down to the main handhelds.
So without further ado, here's mine:

One of the Legendary battle themes from B/W is good too but I can't remember which one. Looking forward to the music in B2/W2, gen 5 has some of my favourite music in the series so far. Everything between N's Castle appearing after the Elite 4 and the end credits theme was especially good, I don't think I've ever been so drawn into a Pokemon game.

I love Pokemon music. My favourite is the surf theme from Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal. I find it really relaxing and lovely.


Second I love all the music from Pokemon Ruby/Saphire/Emerald.



There's just too many to choose from! Pokemon music just gets better and better.

An epic theme for an epic battle. This version is the best, although the BW version is good too.

There's a reason I dislike the Gen V Elite 4 theme and that's because due to the game's lack of a VS seeker or a decent rematch system, I have to keep battling them over...and over again to level up. It's not fun.

This one too. I keep remembering the gruesome 2nd battle against the Champion.

EDIT-Sean reminded me about Gen 5's Elite 4 theme

There's a reason I dislike the Gen V Elite 4 theme and that's because due to the game's lack of a VS seeker or a decent rematch system, I have to keep battling them over...and over again to level up. It's not fun.

I didn't care about rebattling the Elite 4, but those games do need a decent VS Seeker.

EDIT 2- Damn, people are taking the ones I forgot to mention! Silph Co. in particular was pretty awesome. Hell, FRLG was pretty much the Pokemon game with the best music.

Silph Co was just hectic and the music really didn't do much to ease the tension of AAARGH TOO MANY TELEPORTERS WHERE THE FUCK AM I GOING!?!?!?!!??

Pokemon Gold/Silver Route 29. Always has been my favorite.


Every time I walk through that starter route, I always have a nostalgia factor blind me and caress my inner child. Honestly, they had to have made it intentionally catchy because they make you walk through it 3 times minimum. I have literally spent hours just listening to this glorious, low quality tune.

My absolute favourite route music was Route 113. I could listen to it for hours, which was handy when I was gathering all that volcanic ash for the glass flutes I wanted. I cringe to think of the state of my character's lungs from Sapphire Version...
