Im not that big of a fan of FPS games because they are all so damn generic and stale, but i did get some amusement out of Modern Warfare 1, just because it was a breath of fresh air to see a shooter that isnt set in WWII or the future.

I think the game is slightly overrated, and- Ah, screw it: I freaking loved Modern Warfare, can't wait for a sequel.

1)It's the real date. (don't know if applies worldwide or not)
2)The game is apparently going under the name Modern Warfare 2 (looks like they dropped the Call of Duty part, but it's considered the sixth in the series.)
3)'Need More Than That' is basically the 'meh'.

Americans do Month / Day / Year
The Normal people do Day / Month / Year, hence our 9th November jokes.

Not really much to go on. Loved CoD4 though so will probably get this.
=]
It just shows how popular CoD 4 was. Any random up and coming title that was the first in it's series did that, and we wouldn't bat an eyelid until we saw it in action.

Meh... I might get it. CoD5 was ok (multiplayer anyway), not sure I need to buy part 6 though, at least not full-price.

It doesn't. It's either the 11th of October or the 10th of November.
Seeing as Infinity Ward is an American-based company, the date is in the Month/Day/Year format. (don't get why people do it Day/Month/Year or any other odd mix-up though.)

day / month / year makes sense, because days make up months that make up years.

months do not make up days.

When you say people, do you mean the rest of the world? Because only you and a handful of countries do it like that.

Don't get why I never thought of it that way. But it makes sense though, so thanks!
