I THINK MODERN WARFARE IS REALLY GREAT WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK!?
No, I'm kidding, this is not another MW2 thread.
I'm sure you have all noticed the introduction of 3D movies in cinemas, the technology has been there for a while but it has only just made it into high budget block busting films. Sure you have to wear a pair of glasses to be able to see it properly, but the net effect is positive as the perception of depth is improved for the viewer and you can *wince* have things pop out at you. The wince is because final destination was particularly annoying in that sense.
What I put to you, people of the escapist, is whether 3D technology like this should come to gaming. Would it be a good idea? Could it improve the experience? Could you bear to wear strange glasses while playing?

Personally, I can see potential for it in many first person games, as it would improve immersion in some senses but only if done well. Other genres may have more trouble integrating it successfully.
Although I doubt that I can comment without trying it, I feel that the glasses would get on my nerves though.
