Poll: A question to all music producers

I ask this because I keep feeling that if I do use presets, I am somehow cheating.

Does anyone else feel similar? Or should it not be such an issue?

Pre-sets are all right, but when you use them too often your music will start to get repetitive. You should tweak your own effects to achieve some different textures, especially if you usually have the same instrumentation throughout multiple works. I find this especially important with virtual keys and drums.
